24. Humans are weird too

It was the Cybertronians who had to listen to Ratchet's rants later on as the humans had developed a convenient habit of zoning out. Of course, it was not just Ratchet who was more wary of the food supply they received after that incident. In fact, almost every Cybertronians who had human friends watched their food intake like a Predacon carrier. Shockwave who had originally been considering checking their poison tolerance had brought those luxury food as treats for humans who helped him. The way Coby and the rest of the human's eyes lit up was fascinating to Shockwave and he promised to bring more.

Shockwave, 'Their idea of luxury is illogical however. The only good thing is that I can take advantage of it for my observations.'

Optimus meanwhile was with Sam, "I must admit I was not sure what to expect when I met Primus. It was nothing like I had imagined."

Sam, "Gods rarely are. My advice is to never expect anything. Seriously, they are worse than any sparklings or kids when it comes to moods."

Optimus, "I noticed that... How do humans handle it?"

Sam hummed, "Most humans become atheists or think they have schizophrenia. I mean hardly anyone actually believes God actually exists aside from children."

Optimus, "I see, but they do exist."

Sam, "I know but as humans grow up they become skeptical and disillusioned pretty fast. Belief is more of a coping system for many people than actually believing in God. If people actually believed in God we would not have so many criminal Priests getting arrested."

Optimus paused remembering those cases, "I suppose so. So, what do I do now?"

Sam, "You are asking me?"

Optimus, "This is not exactly dealing with politics or enemies. And I am no Priest, I was previously a researcher."

Sam scratched his head, "True, well if you were to ask me then, you should sit back, process what just happened. I mean it, think it over carefully and then decide if you want to pursue it or not. From what I saw and understood, you are not obligated to do anything except, return home to Cybertron safely."

Optimus, "True, Primus did not request anything except my safety. I was expecting him to scold me or curse me because of what happened to Cybertron."

Sam, "Cycle of peace and destruction, I suspect he knows it better than anyone else."

Optimus murmured, "Yes."

Sam, "Do you need a vacation to process this? I am sure no one would mind Optimus. I know you already work twice as hard to do things."

Optimus, "Well, Ratchet has insisted I take the weekend off for a full on relaxation and unwinding."

Sam, "Alright then, you are taking this weekend off. You need to relax and unwind, right? Come with me to our place, it is basically in a very inconspicuous neighborhood."

Optimus, "Thank you Sam but I do not wish to bother."

Sam, "It is not a bother Dadbot and Bumblebee misses you a lot too. I would suggest you think of this as a way to date without worrying about dangers. Jazz can be a chaperone to your courting, making it all the more official."

Optimus's fans came on, "You have been learning about Cybertronian courting?"

Sam, "Bumblebee told us a bit about how he wanted to be really official not just date romantically but you guys just never got the time. Now, though you are getting a weekend off, take advantage of it."

Sam, 'I will get Ratchet to make it a week later.'

Megatron looked up, 'Hmm.'

Raon, "Is something wrong, Sire?"
