While you were busy giving yourself an inner pep talk you felt the car stop, you heard the car door open, and the trunk, and finally the suitcase unzipped.

Koren gave you a sad smile and squeezed you tight "I'm so sorry darling, the hard parts over now, we're out of town" Koren said followed by kissing you all over your face.

He then picked you up and carried you around the car, and set you in the back, "there's a pillow and blanket and some snacks on the other seat if you need them darling" Koren said as he stroked your cheek before closing the door and moving back to the driver's seat.

Koren drove for a while, most of the time he rambled his head off about seemingly nothing so you mostly just tuned him out while eating chips and sleeping occasionally.

Koren finally stopped at a gas station, your eyes widened at the people there, there wasn't much, and they were seemingly going about their days, but they were people.

And you hadn't seen anyone besides Koren in over a month.

You were busy looking at the gas station when Koren squeezing your upper thigh startled you, you looked at Koren who was staring at you with an unreadable expression.

"I know exactly what you're thinking (y/n). Be good, or I'll punish you." Koren stated coldly before slamming the car door shut.

You rolled your eyes at the drama, you weren't planning on running here anyway, it was too risky it was just nice seeing someone other than Koren.

Koren shortly returned with a bag of food and one of those red plastic gas containers.

"You stayed put, good girl." Koren said while staring at you affectionately, you cringed "Well yeah? I love you so..." you mumbled.

Koren thought you were too cute to ignore so before leaving he climbed in the back with you and assaulted your mouth, leaving bites and marks on your already bruised neck.

It was embarrassing people at the gas station saw... some started cheering and roaring with laughter, others scoffed and shielded their children from the pda.

"Okay this is where we're gonna sleep for tonight darling, we'll get back on the road tomorrow at six then we should be home by this time tomorrow..."
