"Can't you just, you know-?!" Clara is pacing above the deck.
"What?!"
"Fly the Tardis into the parallel universe?" She leans down so she can be heard
"Ah, it's not a parallel universe. It's a pocket universe,"
"Plus, it is collapsing," Willow adds "The TARDIS could get in there,"
"But entropy would bleed her power sources, you see? Trap her there until the entire universe decayed back into the quantum foam. Which would take about three minutes, give or take, you know..."
The Music Room
A thick silver cable and other wires run from the Tardis into the house. A large crystal is held in a cradle at head height. Clocks have been placed around the room. Emma and Palmer are now wearing coats, preparing for the cold.
"What is that?" Clara is watching the Doctor construct something at the centre of the room.
" A subset of the Eye of Harmony."
"I don't -"
"Of course you don't! Be weird if you did. I barely do myself. Right. You," he points at Emma "sit down," she does as she's told "All the way from Metebelis Three," The Doctor puts a headset with a blue gem in it onto Emma's head.
"What does it do?"
"It amplifies your natural abilities like a microphone or a pooper scooper," The Doctor scans the room and the clocks start ticking.
"What exactly is this arrangement?" Palmer asks
"A psychochronograph,"
"Forgive me, but isn't it all a bit well, make do and mend?"
The Doctor puts on a parachute harness, Willow helps him buckle it up "Non-psychic technology won't work where I'm going. Listen, all I need to do is dive into another dimension, find the time traveller, help her escape the monster. get home before the entire dimension collapses and Bob's your uncle!"
"Doctor, will it hurt?" Emma asks, scared, the Doctor bends down
"No," then he stands up again " Well, yes. Probably. A bit. Well, quite a lot. I don't know. It might be agony. To be perfectly honest, I'll be interested to find out,"
"Dad!," Alex whisper shouts "Not helping!"
Emma looks at Palmer, who nods, she starts to speak "I'm talking to the lost soul that abides in this place," Nothing happens. "I'm speaking to Hila Tarcorian!"
The clocks start to go backwards. The Doctor hitches his harness to a thick rope as the black disc appears and a strong wind blows through, the disk expands and a bright white doorway appears.
"See? The Witch of the Well! It's a wormhole! A reality well! A door to the echo universe. Ready?!" he asks Emma
"Ready!"
Willow grabs The Doctor quickly, smashing her lips against his "Be safe,"
The Doctor winks and jumps through the wormhole "Geronimo!"
All they can do is stand and wait as Emma can see what's happening inside the pocket universe.
"Doctor! Doctor! Come home! Doctor, come home! Doctor!" she reaches her hand out and Willow closes her eyes, grabbing Clara's hand in fear the longer The Doctor is there.
