Welcome to the world of randomly generated droids, this is a fanfiction which attempts to give lore to the ROBLOX game with the same name, follow the journey of Brawler, Ranger, Elementalist and Healer as they travel through various worlds, fighting...
The droid was in front of me, barely a foot away, I quickly moved to the side as the droid stopped to turn. This was perfect.
As the droid slowly turned, I quickly lunged my sword through the droid's torso. I used my full strength, expecting some resistance, but there was none. My sword slid right through the thing as sparks shot out behind the droid, my sword popping out the other side of the droid, causing the droid to instantly deactivate, I didn't even need to do some epic kill, it died instantly. Man, so they are speed demons, but are incredibly fragile? Good to know. The droid fell to the ground as I pulled my sword out of it, circuits flying out of the hole in the droid's torso, I quickly pocketed the circuits, walking over to Ranger. That had to be my most stressful moment ever, seeing that thing speed toward me reminded me that I could have died there, I might just have to come to terms with death because I bet I'll be facing it more than I realize.
"Survivor said the other squadron members are up ahead, they told Survivor and Pie-Baker to keep guard here, I'll stay here with Survivor and Pie-Baker! You both go find Raider and Knight" Healer said, sitting down with Pie-Baker and Survivor, still patching up Pie-Baker.
"So, looks like we're gonna be on our own for a little while," Elementalist said, walking towards me as he waited for us to set off.
"That thing was fast-" Ranger was interrupted. "Yeah, Ranger we know that." Elementalist interrupted with a sarcastic voice before he was hit in the head by Ranger's new blaster.
"Elementalist, you kinda didn't do anything, all you did was slow it down for a few seconds," I said while rubbing my neck. Ranger didn't say anything as she was visibly annoyed, she gave a 'let's go' motion with her hands before she sprinted onward.
"Great one idiot." I jokingly said to Elementalist before I nudged Elementalist's shoulder, as we quickly followed Ranger. Rangers eye twitched in annoyance as she tried to move ahead of us.
I understood why Ranger was upset. First Survivor now we have to find their squad? Usually Elementalists annoying remarks we wouldn't really care about since he's always like this. But Ranger wasn't in the mood right now.
I think Ranger felt what I felt in that fight, there were so many points in that fight where we could have died but we got lucky.
Elementalist looked to the ground, I bet he felt bad about what he said, Elementalist isn't good at reading rooms, It was just at the wrong time.
As we kept going forward, we eventually saw the rest of Survivors squad. They were both fighting a hoard of droids.
I watched in amazement as the 2 easily swept through the hoard with ease, as we got closer I noticed who those both were, they were legends!
one of them was big and tall, he wore a massive suit of armor and an even bigger sword! It was the biggest sword I've ever seen. Apparently, it's called a greatsword. It was Knight!
Then there was the other one, he had a dagger as he quickly and efficiently swept through multiple droids, quickly stabbing their vital robotic parts and quickly shutting them off, he would wipe out most of the droids in the span of a few seconds beside Knight. They were legends! It was Raider!

Raider was another legend! I couldn't believe that these 2 guys were put in the same squad with a bratty kid and a newbie, Raider and Knight quickly finished the droids until what was left was a large pile of droid scrap. We all watched in awe, as Raider turned to us. He calmly walked over the piles of droid scrap from the once massive hoard, as he approached Ranger.
"Hey, I'm Ranger, we're a part of Healers Squadron. We found one of your squadron members half dead and the other by himself." Ranger said in a very serious tone. I bet she made herself sound serious to look cool in front of Raider and Knight.
Raider gave a long sigh as he looked down. "I told you we shouldn't have trusted Pie-Baker, and Survivor by themselves," Raider spoke to Knight with a monotone voice.
Knight slowly turned. Sheathing his massive sword onto his back as he began to walk very slowly, you could hear his armor clink with every step until he was eventually beside Raider.
Knight turned to Raider.
"Oi, Pie-Baker isn't a troublemaker, you put too much doubt into her. Survivor might have something in em." Knight spoke, his speech muffled under his helmet of armor. The guy towered over all of us, even Raider. He had a really strong British accent.
Not a lot of people within the brink have accents, most people who have accents were those around before the great droid war. Knight says apparently everybody where he was from spoke like him.
"Even if one of them Is somewhat competent. Trusting even one of them has stopped another squad's mission, let's go, Knight." Raider spoke as we all began to walk back.
Raider followed behind us as we eventually got back to Healer and Survivor. As Healer turned to see us, her cheerful expression turned into that of an annoyed expression.
"Raider! So good to see you here!" Healer said with a very fake welcoming tone, Raider walked past her, not even speaking to her. He just went straight to survivor. Raider looked angered as Survivor looked up to him, Survivor looked really scared but could you blame him? Raider was about to say something to Survivor until he turned back to healer. "healer, surprise seeing you at Sandy Canyon, your new squad looks promising, let's hope it isn't like your last squad Healer." Raider spoke passive-aggressively before he turned back to Survivor.
Last squad? What did Raider even mean about this, what happened to Healers last squad? We all just stayed silent as Raider dealt with his squadron members.
"So you're telling me that you watched your teammate get attacked by a hunter droid, didn't say anything then you RAN away to go solo." Raiders voice was mean and angry, he crouched down to Survivors height, staring into his eyes for a second.
"Oi, He's just a kid Raider, go easy on him," Knight said with a sad voice, looking to the side.
Raider ignored Knight's request before he smacked Survivor. Survivor jumped back. "AHHH! WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR!" Survivor yelled.
This was honestly better than I thought was going to happen, a kid like Survivor kinda needs that with his current 'attitude' against women, but he's just a kid. The whole 'cooties' thing I bet will pass over in a month or 2.
Knight gave a sigh of relief as he walked over to Raider.
Healer just finished healing up Pie-baker as she got up.
"Both of you are going with us, we can't trust any of you to be by yourselves," Raider spoke with a mean tone again. He would advance through the sandy canyon, as his squad followed.
"What's up with Raider Healer?" Elementalist questioned, his arms crossed with a confused face.
"Yeah, what did he mean by your last squad?" Ranger questioned, raising her eyebrow.
Healer gave a deep sigh. "I once led a squad before this one, pretty obvious right? Well... It was my first time leading a squad, we were deep within the violent volcano, and we were fighting the droids normally until I was separated from my squad, they didn't know what to do and were attacked by a vicious hoard of droids. By the time I got back, they were all gone except for one." Healer said, her voice trembling slightly as she looked down.
We all had worried expressions on our faces until Elementalist joined in.
"Don't worry healer, you're a pretty cool squadron leader, that won't happen again. Don't worry!" Elementalist said in a cheerful voice.
"Thanks, Elementalist, anyways. It looks like Raiders squadron has this place cleared out, we can let them deal with it while we go to the next region." Healer said as she turned. Walking onward as we all followed.
