Still Here Chapter 17

"Wait so what's your point in this story because I don't seem to understand it." I say cutting out of her telling me the rest of the story.

She laughs. "My point is that there's going to be obstacles in the way but at the end of the day everything is going to get sorted out and you'll know for a fact if you are or aren't in love not just because of what the person says but also because of the actions they take. All you have to do is wait and soon enough you will know."

I stay quiet thinking over what she said and came to the conclusion that she was right.

"Has it been five minutes?" I ask

"Let me ask." She opens the door. "Sean how long has it been since you got out of the bathroom?"

"Awhile, Do I have to go kick someone's ass or what" I hear Sean respond.

"Thank you." She says closing the door smiling. "Go ahead and check it now." She points to the stick on the counter.

I grab the white stick and look at it. "Does the negative mean 'no you're not pregnant' or 'this is a negative sign to show that from now on your life won't be the same'?" I ask Bella.

She laughs. "Well when you put it in those words I'm not that sure anymore. Usually it means that you are not pregnant."

I sign in relief. Not that I would have hated the baby if I was pregnant. It's just that I don't think I'm ready to be a mom yet. Plus I was still in college. Not that it would interrupt with my college work since I'm finishing in two months. I just didn't want to be one of those girls that got pregnant in college. From what I've heard they all drop out.

"Well if you're not pregnant then I think we have to go see a doctor." Bella says interrupting my train of thoughts.

"I think you're right."

"Always am." She smiles.

"Whatever you say. Can you ask Sean if he can help me to the bed?"

"Yeah let me go call him." She walks out and a few moments later Joey and Bella come in.

"Sean's upstairs helping Jesses take a shower." Bella says before escaping out so that I wouldn't say anything back to her.

Joey walks over to me and sits on the edge of the tub.

"What?!" I ask annoyed of him just staring at me.

"Are you pregnant?" He asks quietly looking me in the eyes.

"Why do you care?" I snap back. He already has one girl pregnant. I know for sure he won't want another one.

"Because it's my baby too"

"No you're having a baby with Emiley not with me!"

"Come on Lili. It is mine don't even lie, because I forgot to use protection when we. Wait is it Josh's? I bet it is I saw when you two started going at it in th-"

"Look Joey I'm not pregnant. Wait you didn't use protection?! What do you mean you saw us?"

"Well when I told you to wait you said 'no now'." Ok I have to admit that was probably my fault. "I went to say sorry and you and Josh were making out so I left. I bet he's the dad huh?" He turns his head to look down at the floor.

"I'M NOT PREGNANT! Speaking of being pregnant, shouldn't you be with Emiley helping her out with HER pregnancy."

"She lied to me." He said shrugging and looking back up.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

"It wasn't my baby. It was some other guy that she had cheated on me with. Also the reason to why we broke up a long time ago."
