"We shall not let your clan pass through the gates to the forbidden forest of Gandonian without a fight!"

Eddie announced in a deep voice playing as the beast "Shall your clan turn away or fight the beast and his army?"

Max scoffed "obviously we're going to fight" The other guys in the group shook their heads.

"We're already out! Don't you remember!?" Max clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth "we can fight them!"

Will was quick to think "I can use a spell to heal us all to full to make it pass!" Dustin laughed "no way you roll a twenty to do so."

Will smirked "I'm the best at rolling twenties" Mike put his hand on Will's shoulder.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Will nodded "of course I'm sure" Will took the dice in his hands and shook furiously.

Max and Mike watched with anticipation scared that this wouldn't work.

Will threw the dice and they bounce across the table clattering as they did so, time slowed for the trio but as the dice fell and Will successfully rolled a twenty they cheered.

"Yes! We can totally do this now!" Mike said pulling Will into a side hug, Will smiled, blush rising to his cheeks.

Dustin and Eddie stood shocked as Max made her move to attack.

As they fought the battle and made it threw with half health they made it to the ending.

With cheers and victory rushing threw everyone they made it to the final battle.

"He will surely take you out!" Eddie said placing down another figurine.

"There is three of us and one of him, we'll be fine!" Eddie clicked his tongue "you poor soul...he has more health then all of you combined it will be impossible!"

The three dropped there jaws as their other friends groaned and sighed in frustration.

"Alright, team huddle" Will said and they all got in a circle.

"I say you guys forfeit, Will is the lowest out of both you and there is no way you two deliver a final blow!"

Will nodded in agreement and Max shook her head "I am not losing my first game you guys! Me and Mike will fight!"

Mike nodded "she's right we said we can't lose so we'll power through, if I get a good enough hit, even a 20, we'll totally win."

The group nodded and sighed "atleast we're going out with a fight" Will smiled as they pulled up.

"Done planning your epic doom?" Dustin asked and Will nodded "we were planning your epic doom."

Dustin and Eddie laughed "yea right" they all walked back over and Will grabbed the dice.

"Your gonna die Will!" Dustin said and Will nodded in defeat "It's for a good cause."

Will threw the dice and landed on a good number! Yet not good enough to save him.

He threw a hit which landed him in his grave "you will be missed Will the Wise."

Mike said patting his shoulder Will giggled a bit a smile plastering on his face.

"Alright Mike throw a hit he's low!" Eddie shook his head "the only way you guys could win is if Mike and you both get a 20."

Max turned to Mike and gave him a look that if he didn't roll a twenty she'd kill him.

Mike took a deep breath and grabbed the dice shaking it and throwing it foward.

The dice rolled around on the table hitting each other as they rolled. They landed and Mike had rolled a 15.

Everyone went into a bunch of commotion Max grabbed Mike's shoulders shaking him violently.

"Mike how could you!" Mike was quick to plead "It's not my fault I'm sorry!"

Max huffed and turned to Eddie and Dustin who laughed and snickered "told you, you guys can't do it."

"Only way now is if you yourself roll double twenties and that's impossible."

Max smirked "not for me" she grabbed the dice and shook them quickly and with out hesitating threw them foward.

Everyone was on the edge of their seats! Having mini heartattacks as the dice rolled across the table.

Max watched practically sweating, Eddie and Dustin snickering knowing there was now way she did it.

And in the intensity and all the hype Max had landed it!

It's like the whole room shook when the group jumped with joy after Max landed the double twenties.

"I did it! I fucking did it!" Will wrapped Max in a hug as they cheered and partied as Dustin and Eddie stayed disraught that they had lost.

"Good job or whatever" Dustin said with a grumble the rest of them smiled pulling him into their hug.

《5:50, Hawkins High-School》

Mike, Will and Dustin cheered Max on as they exited the school building.

"For your first time playing you did amazing!" Will said and Max nodded "I know I know, I'm the best."

They talked until Dustin and Max left leaving just Mike and Will.

"Want to go to our special spot?" Mike asked and Will smiled "any reason?" Mike scoffed "I shouldn't have to have a reason."

Will giggled "I'm joking" Mike smiled pulling Will into his side. "I know" Will blushed smiling up at Mike.

Once they got close to the Byers house they began to run towards the back of the house and into the woods.

They remembered the path to there hide out like the back of their hand. When they made it Mike and Will exchanged big smiles.

Mike went over and held open the curtain "after you my good sir" Will rolled his eyes giggling a bit while entering the small fortress.

Mike followed as Will turned on the flash lights "we really need to invest in a better lighting system" Mike laughed "this is my best idea ever."

The two sat down and began working on their campaign for the next D&D meet.
