"You're the best Will" Mike said looking at him before turning away and looking over at the school building.

Will was left with his thoughts after Mike turned away and started talking about how much his third period sucked.

Yet he didn't let go of Will's hand, Will knew this was a friendly hand hold because they've been doing this since they were kids.

But Will's mind just had to take it as more then that, more then friends.

"Mike I-" just then Will's words were interrupted by clattering on the top of the bleachers.

The boys, obviously startled, turned around and looked up seeing two girls.

One who they immediately knew, Max and another girl who looked completely new.

"Max you scared the shit out of us!" Will said turning to Mike to see If he was upset from the startle as well.

Yet he looked mesmerized staring up at the girls, Will followed his gaze and saw it went right to the new girl.

She had a small smile on her face as her, brown wavy hair fell in front of her eyes as she looked down at the boys as well.

"What the hell are you guys doing down here anyway!" Max asked and Will shrugged "we didn't want to go to third period."

Max took the hand of the girl beside her and went around the bleachers to where the boys were.

"W-Who is she?" Mike asked stuttering on his first word.

Will looked over at him seeing his face completely red with literal hearts for eyes.

Will turned to the girl and examined her features as Max said who she was.

"This is El! She's new here and my teacher asked to show her around the school before the end of third period."

"Hi El!" Mike said scooching closer to El and holding out his hand "I'm Mike."

El smiled at Mike taking his hand kindly "nice meeting you Mike" Mike turned to Will as he just sat there staring at El.

"Oh and this is my bestfriend Will!" Mike turned to Will and Will was quickly snapped out of his thoughts smiling softly at El.

"Hi" El smiled "Hi!" Max smirked at Mike as he rambled to El about the school then she turned to Will.

"I think he likes her" Max mouthed to Will and Will just looked at the two as they subtlety flirted with each other.

"M-Maybe" Will mouthed back feeling something eating at his heart.

"Do you want to come to our D&D club tonight, you can watch us play!" Mike proposed to El and she smiled.

"Sure, I'll come!" Max took the girls hand and stood up crouching a bit so they didn't hit the top of the bleachers.

"Alright boys it was fun watching you skip but I gotta show her around some more, catch you later" Max said as she started to walk off with El.

"Bye El it was nice meeting you!" Mike said waving El waved back with a smile "nice meeting you guys too!"

"Wow! That's the prettiest girl I've ever seen" Mike said turning to Will.

Will looked at him feeling jealousy taking over him wishing Mike would talk about him like that.

"Yea I guess" Mike rolled his eyes "don't get all sour on me, you know she was beautiful!"

"Alright Mike just stop talking about her" Will said turning to him. Mike rose his brow.

"What's wrong?" Will shook his head frustrated "Nothing."

Mike nodded slowly clearly telling that something was bothering Will but Mike knew better then to pry.

"W-What were you going to tell me earlier, you know, before Max came?" Will blushed knowing exactly what he was going to tell Mike.

"It was nothing I don't even remember, probably something stupid" Will said turning away from Mike and towards the school building trying to make as little eye contact as possible with Mike.

"O-okay" Mike wondered what was up with Will but soon his mind drifted back to El.

Will just looked away and began thinking about why he would even think about telling Mike how he feels.

Especially with how jealous he had just gotten about El.

He sighed trying his best to think happier, to think about D&D night, tonight was going to be a night about Mike and Will.

Will and his bestfriend.

Just his friend
