"Jordyn, here's some peaches for you."

I look over my shoulder and saw Glenn carrying a basket full of peaches. I smiled grabbing two, "Thanks Glenn."

He gave a tight lipped smile and nodded. Odd. I shook off Glenn's weird behavior and walked over to Daryls tent. He had been itching to get out of that farmhouse, and when he woke up this morning he took his opportunity to go back outside in his tent. He was currently poking holes through the screen of his tent with an arrow when I walked in.

"Got a peach for you." I said causing him to stop and look over at my direction.

I sat down on a small chair that was in his tent, handing him the peach which he gladly took a bite of.

"How you feeling?" I looked at the wound on his head, which seemed to be healing nice.

"Better. Just tired of sittin' on my ass." He said through chews.

"Apparently, Shane is having everyone practice shooting. You should go, stretch your legs." I tried to offer a solution.

Before he could respond, Andrea was peeking her head into the tent.

"Hey." She stepped inside, handing Daryl a book titled 'The Case of The Missing Man.' "This is not that great, but..."

Daryl flipped through the book, "What, no pictures?" I chuckled to myself.

"I'm so sorry. I feel like shit."

"Yeah, you and me both." Daryl adjusted the pillow sitting behind his head.

"I don't expect you to forgive me but if there's anything I can do..." She asked shaking her head.

"You were trying to protect the group. We're good." He comforted her.

She stood up, walking out of the tent, "But hey, shoot me again, and you'd best pray I'm dead."

I chuckled again shaking my head.

Shane and Rick thought it would be beneficial to have people shooting at a make shift range, to get better. Shane set up cans and bottles on the fence post 25 ft away.

"You gonna shoot?" Rick turned to me.

"Might as well, right? Couldn't hurt to practice." I shrugged.

Rick handed me a pistol and motioned for me to start shooting. I brought the gun up, taking aim at the bottle. I shot, shattering the glass bottle that sat on the fence post.

Rick came over to my side, nodding his head, "Okay then. You said your brother taught you? Tyler was it?"

I nodded, causing Rick to place his hand on my shoulder, "Well he taught you well. He'd be proud."

I smiled, "Thanks."

Rick let me try out the different guns we had to get a feel for them. Out of the group that was here, he said I was one of the better ones, and wanted me to get familiarized with what we had incase I needed to use one.

After we had finished, Shane and Andrea went off to do a quick drive through to check out the nearest housing complex in the area. The rest of us went back to Hershels farm. I sat on the steps to the farmhouse, admiring the view. I saw someone had sat down next to me as the sun was now being blocked. I looked over, Hershel was using a cane to help him down to sit.

"I don't wanna pry." He grunted as he sat. "But I can't help but think about your comment when you were givin' Carl blood. About you being in the hospital a lot as a kid." He looked over to see my gaze now at the ground. I shifted uncomfortably.
