It couldn't be better for Hobie and Jasmin right now. They spend every free minute they have together. Nothing could tear them apart...or could they?
Only one night changed everything and turned Jasmin's life upside down. Her psyche and health suffe...
Hobie parked in front of the Italian restaurant and switched off the engine. "Wait," he said briefly, unbuckled his seatbelt, got out and walked round the car to open the door for Jasmin. Just like a real gentleman. She grinned and blushed slightly as Hobie held the door open for her and offered his hand. "My lady," he spoke softly with a grin on his face as she got out.

After Hobie had locked the car, he took Jasmin's hand and walked into the restaurant with her. They received a friendly welcome in the restaurant and were shown to a free table for two. A waitress lit the candle on the table. They both grinned. "A romantic atmosphere," giggled Jasmin. "Only the best for ya," Hobie replied and looked at her enamoured. Her face turned red and she looked away for a moment, embarrassed. He couldn't believe that this was his girlfriend. Everything about her was so beautiful. Her hair, her eyes... He could lose himself in that beautiful ocean blue every time. "You are so beautiful, Jasmin," he said softly, admiring her as if she were a rare diamond. She blushed and smiled at him. "Thank you, Hobie," she replied sheepishly. "No, really, my dear. Yer the prettiest woman I've ever met. Yer character is just perfect. The way ya are, the way you smile, the way you look at the world. You simply make life... more beautiful. And you make me happier." Hobie smiled dreamily at her. No paragraph, no poem, no novel could even begin to express the love that Hobie felt for Jasmin. Nothing in this world would ever come close. And he was sure, almost too sure, that there was no one in this world who loved her more than he did. Who could ever love her more than he did. "I feel like I've always known you. Maybe it's because I knew you from different lifetimes. Maybe it's because your soul is also mine," whispers Hobie his gaze never leaving hers. She was speechless. No one had ever said anything so profound and beautiful to her before. No one had ever managed to touch her with words the way Hobie did. He was special. "I wish I knew what to say in response," she said, feeling her heart leap with happiness. „Ya don't have to say anythin', hon'. Yer smile is answer enough." He took her hand and kissed it lovingly. His eyes never once left hers. A tiny gesture and yet such a great act of love.
"I think we're going to have a nice evening tonight," said Hobie. In the meantime, they had already ordered their food and it wasn't long before a waitress came running towards them with two large plates. "Enjoy your meal," she said and said goodbye with a slight nod of her head. "I always have nice evenings with you," Jasmin replied to Hobie's statement. He picked up a slice of his pizza, but immediately dropped it back on the plate. "Hot?" asked Jasmin. Hobie grinned. "Not as hot as you."
Oh my god.
Her cheeks immediately turned red and she began to grin fiercely. Her stomach churned and she felt her heart begin to pound with excitement. If there was one thing he could do, it was this. To leave her speechless every time. Especially at the most unexpected moments... "Hobie..." Jasmin grinned back. "I'm just being honest," he defended, holding up both of his hands. "Besides, we both know you like it." He grinned mischievously and winked at her. Hobie was impossible. She couldn't argue with that. "Just as much as you do," she smiled and took a sip of her drink. He grinned back. She wasn't wrong.
After a few hours, they decided to go home because they were both totally full. They paid and left the restaurant. It was already dark and cooler. Jasmin rubbed her arms as she immediately got goose bumps. "Are you cold, my dear?" Hobie asked gently. "A little, but it's not too bad," she replied, waving her hand away. "In that case," he replied. Out of nowhere, he grabbed Jasmin by the legs and lifted her over her shoulders. "Hobie!" she laughed, startled. "What are you doing?" She grinned and felt her heart leap for joy. "I'm kidnapping you," he joked and started running off towards the car. Jasmin screamed slightly as her boyfriend seemed to get faster and faster. They both laughed louder and louder. "Not so fast!" she shouted, laughing as they got closer and closer to the car. With a quick movement, he set her down and smiled at her before giving her a quick kiss on the lips. "You're mine tonight," he grinned back and unlocked the car.
