"Pathetic? You think so? It’s a power game, Dhruv. And I play it with precision."
Arjun’s voice dripped with arrogance, his words cutting like a blade. Dhruv clenched his fists, barely containing the storm brewing within him.
"You actually thought exposing me would bring justice?" Arjun chuckled darkly, stepping closer. "Justice is a pretty little lie the weak tell themselves to sleep at night. But in the real world, it’s the powerful who write the rules."
His smirk widened.
"This is my world, Dhruv. And here, power is the only truth that matters."
A sly grin crept onto his face as he glanced toward the surveillance van parked outside. He knew they were watching. He always knew.
"Ah, Shanvi Rai Shekhawat," Arjun’s voice took on a mocking edge. "Enjoying the show?"
Inside the van, Shanvi’s grip on the earpiece tightened, her jaw clenching. Beside her, Danny’s fingers hovered over the keyboard, frozen in shock.
Arjun’s attention snapped back to his men. "Get my Kiara," he ordered, his voice sharp.
Masked figures emerged from the shadows, their heavy boots echoing in the silence.
Dhruv’s restraint snapped. "She’s not yours!" he growled, struggling against the henchmen holding him back. His eyes burned with a mix of fury and something dangerously close to desperation.
Arjun merely smirked. "Oh, but she will be… after you’re gone."
"You’re delusional. Kiara is not some possession to be claimed."
Arjun’s laughter filled the warehouse, low and sinister. "That’s where you’re wrong, Dr. Sehgal. In my world, everything—everyone—has a price. And Kiara? She’s no exception."

Inside the van, Kiara’s heart pounded against her ribs.
"Danny, we need to act now," Shanvi urged, eyes scanning the screens.
Danny nodded. "We have a plan, Kiara. Trust me."
Outside, Arjun’s voice echoed through the warehouse speakers.
"Kiara, sweetheart, come out. There’s no escaping this."
Kiara’s hands trembled. Her gaze flickered between Danny and the masked men drawing closer.
Dhruv, still pinned down, called out desperately, "Kiara, don’t listen to him! Stay inside!"
But Arjun leaned in, his voice dripping with possessiveness. "She’ll come to me willingly, Dr. Sehgal. She knows where she belongs."
Shanvi and Danny exchanged glances. They couldn’t let Kiara fall into Arjun’s hands.
"Danny, Plan B. Now."
The van roared to life, tires screeching as it darted away in a blur.
Arjun’s smirk vanished, his amusement replaced with frustration. "Clever. But you can’t run forever, my dear Shanvi."
