He exhaled, 'Thanks.' he said without a smile, he seemed so determined, so excited, too excited.
It seems like every time I almost give up on everything, I get a reason not to.
This was meant to happen. Good things will come.
Or so I hoped.
- Taehyung's POV -
We waited at the entrance to the mid-winter carnival.
I don't understand why Jin didn't just come with us, but he insisted on driving himself here.
It was cold and starting to get dark, excitement ran through my veins as it did through everyone else's especially Hoseok.
'Can we go in now!' Hoseok said as he jumped up and down and watched the lights flashing beyond the ticket booth.
'We have to wait for Jin and-' Jimin began but cut himself off, my eyes snapped to him, and?
'And who? Jimin, who else is coming?' I asked, hoping it would be her, I remembered the last time we came here. It was a night similar to this one, her and Jin stuck close together which made me a little bit jealous. I was hoping that she would stick near me the whole night, I wanted to give her my coat, but Jin offered his before I could. I wanted to go on the Ferris wheel with her, win a prize for her, and go on the rides with her, Jin had that privilege though, but seeing how much fun they were having together I didn't say anything.
Jimin shot me a smile, 'You'll see.'
I didn't want to get my hopes up, so I assumed it was one of Jins friends tagging along, or even his sister, but then if it was his sister coming then why weren't our siblings coming as well?
We waited 5 minutes before Jin's truck appeared through the fog.
'Finally!' Hoseok sighed.
I tried looking through the front window but couldn't see who was there. The doors opened and Jin walked out, I waited eagerly to see who the other passenger was.
- Jins POV -
I pulled into the parking lot outside the mid-winter carnival.
We saw the guys waiting outside, I saw Hoseok mouth 'finally' before standing back up, hitting the table.
'Before we get out,' she began and turned to me, holding my arm forcing me to stay in my seat, 'how is Taehyung?' I smiled at her.
'You'll see.'
I could tell she was nervous, but he was different now. Not like the first time.
I got out first and entered the cold, I closed my door and walked to the front of my truck, she opened hers. I walked over and saw that she was dead nervous and wasn't moving.
'Come on, it'll be fine, he's alright now.'
She took a deep breath and exhaled deeply, I took her hand and lead her out, closing her door. She was hiding behind me as we walked, I watched Taehyung as he tried to manoeuvre his eyes around me to see her.
'I'll buy the tickets now, boys.' one of the security guards said as he walked towards the ticket booth, the two other security guards stood near. Hoseok and Yoongi followed the security guard to the ticket booth, eager to enter.
I stopped in front of Taehyung and moved to the side, revealing her.
His face lit up immediately, she wasn't looking at him, she hid half her face beneath her scarf. He smiled widely and leaned down to catch her eyes.
