Nayeon gave me a cheerful smile. "Don't beat yourself up. He was the one using and manipulating you"

"I know but I can't help it but to blame myself for being blind for a fucker like him!"  I hissed all the words in my mind out to her.

After a while, the bell rang for school to begin as we took up our belongings and stood up. "Come on, let's get to class" I said to which she nods.

Time skipped...
In the evening

On the evening of the Halloween party, I walk over to Taehyung's house and ring the door bell as i waited for him to open the door. Since we were supposed to be a couple, naturally it would make sense to go the costume party together.

When Taehyung open the door, he halted and take a look at my entire preparation from head to toe. "Woah, who would have thought that you you'd look this sexy!?" He exclaimed with a little bit wide eyes.

I rolled my eyes and being shy at the same time. "I have to look this part you know?"

Taehyung nods as we decided to couple our Halloween costume. He was going as  Batman while me as a Catwoman. It was my idea and surprisingly, he went along with it. I went all our with my costume by dressing in skin tight black leather suit and ack high heels. It's completed with cats ear and eyes mask. I even drew a whiskers for added effect.

I look at him too and grin at how he looked in a batman costume. I would never admit it to him, but he looks good. Taehyung lifted his eyebrows in question. "What is it?"

"Oh nothing" I took his hand and pulled him out. "Come on. We have a party to get to"

Jason's house was huge and it was for the best too because almost the entire school's population showed up. I looked around me as everyone was dressed in a Halloween Customer. Some scary, some of them characters from movie and others random outfits put together to create a costume. I talked around the place a d spotted Nayeon. My lips pulled into a smile when I saw that she went with the sexy fire woman's costume. Taehyung and I walked over to her.

"I see you you choose to be a fire wan, huh?" I said in reading way.

Nayeon grinned. "Yeah. As soon as I saw this outfit, I knew it that it was the one for me" Her eyes then focus on me and then on Taehyung. She give us a smirk. "You guys look cute. Batman and Catwoman. You both gonna smashing l. By the way, we should take some picture later"

"Sounds good" I agreed with a nodded.

Nayeon then turn to face Taehyung. "Hey Taehyung, where's your partner in crime?" She asked refer to Jimin.

"Never fear because Zorro is here" Just as we talk about him and here he showed up out of nowhere with the outfit like Zorro.

"To be honest, it suits you" I said with an amusing smile.

"I know. Nkw, if you don't mind, this Zorro must be off to flirt with the ladies" Jimin exclaimed as he stuck a Zorro pose and leave after that.

We all laughed as Jimin walked away smashing his cape behind him. As I watched Jimin go, my eyes immediately caught a glimpse of Suho who just entered the place. He was dressed as a pirate. Of course he'd be here. What do you expect that from? Suho was never one to turn down a party.

"Look who's here?" I heard Nayeon say as she spotted him too.

I immediately turning away from his direction and face Nayeon. "I don't care about him. I came here to have a good time and that I shall do" with that I take Taehyung's hand. "Come on, Tae. Let's dance" I suggested to which he grinned widely at me.

"You don't have to tell me twice" Taehyung says and winked at me.

Three hours later, I was sitting on a couch in the living room with Nayeon and a can of diet coketale in my hand. I wanted to leave now, but I was waiting for Taehyung who was over the pool table area with Jimin watching the pool game. He told me that he would leave as soon as the game was finished.

Suddenly, Suho came into my line of sight.  He walked across the room to his friends, looking at him now he seems different somehow like a stranger to me. It was hard to believe that it was just a few weeks ago were a couple. I can't really see it because of what I now know.

Back when we dated, he was kind and caring. Well at least I thought he was. Now that I know who he really is, it's like I'm seeing him for the first time with fresh eyes.  I immediately turn my gaze away from him as he made his way to the bar area. Just then Taehyung and Jimin also walking back towards us.

"It's about time you guys are ready" I comments as they both stood in front of us.

"Hey the game was intense. We had to see it through" Jimin said defensively.

I stood up from the couch and face Nayeon. "Come on, Nayeon. We're leaving now",

"I'm going to stay here for a while. You guys can go ahead" Nayeon said.

"Are you sure? How do you get back home then?" I asked being worried.

"I'll be fine. I'll just get a ride with some of our classmate here"

"Okay sounds good
Have fun, I'll see you tomorrow for our horror movie marathon", I said to which she nod.

"See you tomorrow" Nayeon said after us as we walked to the entrance of the house. When we got outside, Jimin walked over to take his car and Taehyung doing the same leaving me waiting at the parking lot.

On the ride, back to our house. Taehyung suddenly parked his cat in his driveway and turn to me.

"We can sit out here for a while. It's still quite early" Taehyung suggested.

"Okay then. Just for a few minutes and oy because the air feels good here"

Taehyung grinned teasingly. "I know you couldn't resist me" he said as he sat down on his doorstep.

We didn't say anything else after that and just sat there on the bench near by in silence, enjoying the cool night air of the Han River.

I look at the moon that was shine between the dark sky and sighing in defeat, thinking about everything that happens to me.

"You miss him, don't you?" Taehyung suddenly questioned me after we went quiet for a while.

"Who?" I turned to face him, confused by his sudden question.

"Your ex boyfriend" he replied.

I shook my head and answered honestly. "No I don't"

"I saw you looking at him at the party. I assumed that you were missing him and reconsidering giving him another chance"

"Of course not! Why did I doing that?" I said adamantly. I was even shocked at the absurdity of the idea. Where did he get that from? Why he suddenly asking me about Suho?

"Did you love him?" Taehyung is going on with his question, bringing me from my thoughts.

I was silent for a while and rethinking about his question.  Did I love him? I have never really thought about it before. At one point I thought I did before, but now I'm not sure if I still did. One thing for sure was that I did care a lot about him. There was no question if Suho loved me though. Obviously, he didn't. I still can't believe the last few months for our relationship was a lie.

"I did care about him" I answered truthfully. "He was the first guy that I've ever been close to. He was my first boyfriend. Back then he was great. Believe me he wasn't looking like he was right now"

Taehyung stretched both of his foot and said. "Well, as I've said before, you know him best"

I shook my head in denial. "Not anymore"
