One More Time (I Will Wait)

Start from the beginning

He was also surrounded by three moons — all of them far smaller than him, only one seemed to be around half his size.

He didn't know their names nor which planet they orbit — but they probably orbit the same one, seeing as to how comfortable they were with each other.

They must be here to keep guard and make sure that Luna couldn't escape. A bit overkill if you asked him. His shoulders and wrists already hurt with how tightly they'd bound his arms to his back.

They weren't too interested in him, seeming content with their company. They talked about lots of things, none of which were about the revolution. Eventually Luna stopped paying as much attention since none of their conversations contained useful information at all.

Luna had hoped it'd been Callisto instead they'd sent here instead.

"The hell are you doing here?" He heard someone say with oozing dislike.

Without thinking, he turned to the moons, and almost startled when he noticed the new addition.

"Titan," Luna said, more to himself rather than the other satellite.

Titan spared him a look then turned to the band of moons. "I want to talk to him. Alone" He sounded grim. But when Luna gazed upon his face, the little quirks and lines in the space between his eyes and the corners of his mouth told him that he was nervous.

"Whatever, he's yours." One of them said as he rolled his eyes. He was first to stalk off, followed by another, and another. The last one paused to cast them a considering glance before joining the two.

Luna watched as they disappeared, then shifted his eyes onto Titan. Gone was his strong leader persona, leaving behind the Titan he'd gotten to know before all of this.

'I have nothing to say to you.' Luna almost wanted to say just for the sake of being petty. He held his tongue for now, and instead gave Titan a look telling him to go on.

"Stay here." Titan said so abruptly that Luna startled with surprise.

"What?" Luna exclaimed, sounding louder than he'd meant to.

"Here, with the revolution. With— us. I know your relationship with your planet makes it hard for you to stand, and that's fine! You know, we have plenty of moons who feel that same way." Titan's eyes searched for his with a bright gleam of earnestness that had Luna reeling. If he were less serious-looking and more lighthearted, he'd look just as he did back when he had begged Luna to introduce him to Earth. "Phobos and Deimos have been working to make them feel better, they've been going around chatting up every moon...— Though I guess they can't right now. I sent them to give Earth a message but I can get them to visit you when they return. They probably missed you."

There were lots of things Luna wanted to say, most of which stemmed from rage with how shockingly shameless Titan had been — assuming things about Luna as if he'd known him all his life. Instead, he said "Phobos and Deimos?! Why'd you send them?" in a scathing manner.

There was a pause, Titan looked at him, seeming surprised, a tug then frown tugged on his lips "What, you don't think they can handle themselves just because they're small moons?" He said, almost defensive, like he had the right.

Stars there he went again...

"Yes!" He exclaimed.

Titan wanted to say something, but Luna wasn't going to let him speak. "Have you seen them? They're too childish! And haven't you heard of a rogue dwarf planet in the Asteroid Belt? Callisto had to have mentioned it. It isn't a safe place for them to wander alone."

Well, Ceres may not have been as much of a threat as he had originally thought, but he was still a big danger to small moons like Phobos and Deimos. Knowing them, they just might end up trying to pick a fight with a dwarf planet.
