DogDay says excitedly as you moved your cart to the candy aisle. DogDay looked at every possible option. From the chocolates to the chewing gum. He thought long and hard, acting like his own life depended on it. You reminded him you would go shopping again next month, so it wouldn't matter what he got. That didn't seem to convince him either way. He ended up choosing skittles due to their colorful array, and Lucky Charms. CatNap on the other hand chose something you really didn't expect. Unlike DogDay, CatNap settled for dark chocolate muffins with coffee. You hesitated on allowing him to choose the coffee, but part of you didn't know if it had the same effects it did with them and human children.

As you made your way to the cashier, you made sure DogDay and CatNap were hidden. Especially when children were around. You never really got along with random children you'd see on your outings. Mainly it would be you awkwardly standing next to one while they stared into your soul. Something you weren't really fond of and made you reconsider your thoughts about having children. As you finally made it close enough to place your groceries on the moving platform thingy, DogDay sneezed in the duffle bag.

Your eyes widen as the people next to you looked at you oddly. You panic to yourself as you clear your throat, continuing to place your stuff on the platform. You could feel your cheeks go red. Right then and there you just wanted to curl up in a ball and die.

As you carried your bag full of groceries back home, DogDay wouldn't stop talking about how amazed he was. You were taking multiple rests as a result of carrying too much. DogDay offered to help you, but you both knew with his plushy tiny body, it wouldn't do any good.

Stopping once again, you take a breather. DogDay looked worried at you.

"Gee, Momma....I really wish we could help you."

He said feeling guilty. You smile softly at him, patting his head sticking out from the duffle bag.

"Don't worry, Darlin'. Nothing I can't handle."

You said reassuringly. Just as you were about to lift up the heavy groceries again, a man walks in front of you. You look up at him. He was a fair man. Looked quite older than you, but clearly very charming. You felt slightly intimidated as you straightened your body. DogDay hid in the duffle bag, but still peaked out a little to see what was going on. The charming man spoke to you.

"Do you need help with that, lovely?"

He asked you, smiling gently, showing off his pearly whites. His voice was also soothing. You stare at him shocked for a moment, but immediately shake it off. You smile awkwardly, feeling nervous.

"Ah—well...k-kinda..hah.."

You mentally curse yourself for sounding so stupid. Of course you do! You've been struggling the entire time, and your arms were killing you! He notices your awkwardness, but doesn't comment on it. He only chuckle softly.

"Allow me."

He said before reaching down to carry all your grocery bags for you. You look at him slightly amazed that he could carry all of them. You smile nervously, fiddling slightly with the zipper of the duffle bag. DogDay noticed your change of personality. He frowned slightly.

The entire way back to your apartment was nerve wracking, yet also charming. You felt lucky being able to talk to such a ravishing man. You weren't a gal who sought for love—considering you were always so busy, but when the chance came, you just can't help yourself.

Finally reaching your apartment entrance, you tell the man to leave the bags and that you'll carry them back to your place. He looked at you slightly concerned.
