Chapter 95

Nate didn't realize he'd opened his mouth, staring with amusement at the huge room they'd just walked into.
It looked like a miniature version of the huge dining room they just passed, but instead of a table and chairs around it, it was a glass golden table, with a c shaped, golden couch, with purple highlights on it.

There was a huge glass in front of them, looking over the city, a door to the left and a mini fridge on the right corner of the room just by the door.

Spade's hand on Nate's back nudged him, as he came back to reality, taking slow steps into the room, he sat down first and then Spade followed, making Nate to scoot over inside the couch.

"What would you like before you decide on what to eat"? The woman asked with a smile

"The usual, two glasses" Spade ordered and she nodded before walking out of the room, the moment she closed the door, Nate realized that they'd been left alone, he suddenly felt the tension hightened in the room, with Spade just a few inches away from him, he could feel his body heat and smell his cologne, today there wasn't a strong scent of nicotine, but rather his usual, signature musty scent.
"Aren't you gonna look at the menu"? Spade asked pointing to the menu on the table.

Nate gingerly picked it up and went through it, but his mind could barely even concentrate on what he was looking at, instead he was more concerned about where they were sitting at
He sighed out, thinking of way to word his next sentence to Spade.

"You rented a whole suit for our dinner"? He asked, looking at Spade who already had his piercing soft gaze on Nate

He cocked his brows at him
"Is it too much"?
Without answering the question, Nate just let his eyes pick out every detail inside the room, he didn't expect Spade to rent out a room just to have dinner with him, this was definitely going to cost a lot

"I dunno" Nate mumbled still looking around "it's just that I've never had dinner in a place like this before, what about those in the other rooms"? He asked and Spade resisted the urge to smile at how cute and innocent Nate looked and sounded

"You don't have to worry about that" he muttered, he was more relaxed than Nate as he sat facing the young man "if it makes you feel better, the walls are soundproof, so you can do anything you want at all and no one would hear you" Spade's voice held something akin to mischief, as though he was hinting at something to Nate.
Nate looked up, brown, shiny eyes like a river of honey.

"Anything"? He whispered and Spade just nodded

"Anything at all" he muttered, leaning closer to Nate, his eyes shifting from Nate's eyes down to his putty, pinkish red lips, Spade felt the surrounding tense as the air grew thick around them.
He was hovering slightly over Nate
As if that was not enough, Nate decided it was the right time to bite his lower lip, making Spade's eyes to only focus on that, as his mind spiralled out of control, the only thing he could think of and focus on at that moment was the softness and tenderness of Nate's lips, caught in between his teeth.

The more Spade leaned closer to Nate, the faster Nate's heart beat increased, and the louder the thumping sound got.
If his heart beat increased any louder than this, then it would definitely explode and he'd die of anxiety and excitement.
Nate didn't know if he should move back but he couldn't, he felt rooted to that spot, he knew Spade was moving closer to him but he didn't know what to do.

The knock on the door suddenly broke their little bubble of whatever they were doing, making Nate to quickly look away from Spade, focusing on his thighs, Spade didn't move though, but by the way Nate was quick to look away, he knew the moment had been ruined.

He growled out lowly before he turned around and faced the door, it opened and the woman that had been attending to them earlier on, walked in with a bottle of Dalmore 62 and two glasses in her hand.
