After a little while, you got up from the couch. You made your way to your room, not saying anything else. The critters looked around at each other, wondering if you'd be okay. The entire night was filled with confusion and worried faces. The critters checked up on you in the room, and you were passed out face first. Uniform still on and everything. They were too afraid to sleep with you, so they slept outside for the night.

When morning came, you woke up feeling better than yesterday. You noticed the critters weren't in your bed. Confused, you looked around your room tiredly. You got up from the bed and walked out. What you found made your heart hurt slightly. You knew how you acted last night, but were just too tired to even correct your actions. So seeing them sleep outside because of your attitude made you hate yourself even more.

You gently woke up DogDay who was sleeping on the couch with his blanket.

"DogDay, mi amor, wake up.."

You whispered softly, your voice hoarse and cracked. Part of you wanted to cry remembering how rude you were. Especially when you remembered how it affects DogDay the most.

DogDay woke up slowly, his eyes fluttering open. When he saw you he looked surprised. He shook slightly even. When he saw your teary face he immediately got up worried.

"Momma!—what's wrong?!"

He asked you concerned, raising his voice a bit. You shook your head and wiped your eyes. You pulled him into a hug, carrying him in your arms. Your breath hitched as you tried to forget the way you stared at him last night. DogDay was slightly confused, but he embraced the hug just as much as you did. He could feel how your body and shook slightly and your heartbeat.

"Momma?"

He asked you, but all you did was cradle him in your arms. The little commotion caused the other critters to wake up. When you realized they were awake, you put DogDay down. They all looked at you worried, but not because they were still scared of you, but because they were worried why you looked like you were crying.

"Momma?..."

   Asked Bobby concern.

"Are you okay?"

Peeped in Bubba, his voice also concerned. You just got on your knees and hugged them all. You brought them on your lap, kissing each and every one.

"My darlings, please forgive me."

   You said between kisses.

"I wasn't thinking straight yesterday."

You whimpered softly, caressing their faces as you looked at them. They looked at you and smiled softly. Even though you never physically hit them, part of you felt as if you did. You never thought they'd have this much of an effect on you.

"It's okay, Momma, we know you had a bad day at work."

DogDay said, latching myself on your arm.

"Yeah!"

Hoppy yelled, trying to sound positive. With that, all the other critters voiced their reasons why they weren't mad at you. You believed that they were too pure for this world, and that you didn't deserve them at all. You picked them up and smothered their faces with your kisses. Due to you passing out immediately on your bed, you never had the chance to remove your makeup. Some of the critters had red lipstick stains on their faces after you finished smooching them.

Kicken and DogDay were the most obvious ones. Of course, they didn't mind. Especially DogDay. CatNap had walked up to you, rubbing himself on you. The smile on his face actually looked genuine. You all spent the entire morning cuddling and watching tv in the living room. Bubba explained to you the new program he was watching, along with new information he learned.

DogDay was practically glued to your hip, not daring to leave you. Along with Bobby who was on the opposite side. Crafty was showing you her new drawings she made of the family. It was you in the middle with the critters on the sides holding hands. The top wrote 'mommy is the best' with a big red heart. You smiled warmly at her as you told her to keep it for later, so that you could frame it. Kicken and Hoppy were showing you new tricks they learned. Hoppy giggled happily while showing you. It made you smile lovingly. Picky was telling you what foods she wanted to try when you would go to your next grocery shopping trip. She made you a little list on what foods she wanted to try. You giggled softly as you rubbed her head. Finally, CatNap was on your lap, sleeping like always.

You felt glad that things were back to normal. You made sure not to act out like that again in front of your children. You were now a mother. You couldn't bear to fail as one.

IM SO FUCKING SORRY YALL. I KNOW THIS IS SHORT, BUT I PROMISE TO MAKE IT UP.

I had to take a break because stuff had been difficult. I don't want to bring this stuff here, so I won't say anything, but just know I'm feeling slightly better and will try to update regularly. Thank you all so much for your patients. Seeing your comments really makes me smile.
