Spade (MxM)

Chapter 166

"Matteo, Bernie, hide, there's someone at the gates" he whispered, but they'd already heard Stefano on the comms, so they took position, both hiding close to the bars just beside the gates.

Spade hid opposite them "what else do you see Stefano"? He asked

"I count four men inside the compound, it's dark so its hard pointing out if there's anyone around back, but the four at the front are holding guns and it seems they're doing rounds" he explained.

Spade just sighed out and looked at Matteo, they all already knew the plan, they didn't think they'd meet this much people, but there was a plan for that.

Matteo was the first to go over the fence, while Bernie followed behind him before Spade, all dropping on the ground as quiet as they could.
"Let's split up, you two go through the back and I'll go through the front" he whispered and Matteo looked at him before he nodded, Bernie and Matteo went separate ways, the blonde going through the right, while Bernie went through the left, leaving just Spade at the front

Stefano had said it was just four men, he could handle four men on his own
"Stefano, do you have a clear shot"? He asked

"I do but I'm not that fast, I can only take out two before the others realize what's happening" he said over the comm

"I'll handle the other two" Spade said and soon enough before he could even say Jack, he heard the gunshot and two bodies dropped just a few paces away from the bush he'd been hiding.

He walked towards the body slowly, hoping one out of those two would come to check out the dead bodies and give him an opening to take them out

Just a few feet away from them, he looked up and saw that it wasn't just one of the men that had come to check out the dead bodies, it was two

"Shit" he whispered out before he shot one on the leg, the other took a shot at him but he was quick to hide behind a large tree, using it as a shield as he tried to get a clear shot of the person shooting at him.

It was a bad idea hiding behind the tree because it didn't help him to get a clean shot, instead it only blocked the shots of the other man, he couldn't step out and shoot, else he'd get shot.

He peeped through the tree and saw that he was at a trapped spot, he tried to shoot but he missed it, hitting empty space, he turned trying to get another shot when he heard a gunshot that was neither his nor the man and he saw a bullet go through the man's head before he dropped on the ground with a loud thud, he sighed out before he slowly stepped out from the back of the trees, seeing both men dead on the ground, along with the two from before

"Stefano was that you"? He asked through the device on his ear

"That wasn't me Spade" the man muttered back.

From the shadows, Vince and Nico stepped out, making him look at then, he was beginning to think they weren't here
"Boss" one of them muttered, and he just stepped away from where he stood, crossing over the dead bodies, and stopping beside both men, he just patted Nico who was closest to him on the shoulder
"Good work guys, let's go" he muttered before he walked away from the hidden place, stepping into the large compound which was still very dark and deserted but now he knew there was definitely people inside and if these men they just killed were guarding the house, then he was at the right place.

"Matteo" he called over the comms

"Spade, we're inside but this place is a fucking maze, it's too big and not so abandoned" Matteo said to him back

"Keep looking, I'll be in in a minute" with that said, Spade made his way into the building with both Vince and Nico behind him, the first place they stepped into was a very huge, wide room, which he would guess was the living room, it had a huge chandelier hanging from the ceiling, with bright lights illuminating the whole room, but there was no sign of anybody.
