Professor McGonagall: *She addresses the whole class* The lesson is over! If you have not manage the spell, please practise it as homework, you are dismiss. Thank you
y/n: *You stand up and grab your bag* Well, I'll see you around
Cedric: *He nods and stands up as well* Bye
*You are about to leave the room, when you stop by the doorframe. You turn around and look at Cedric, only to find that he's looking at you also. You wave then exit the room.*
*In the Great Hall*
*You are sitting on the Ravenclaw table, eating your dinner when you hear Chang talking to her friends about Cedric. You clench your fork tightly and keep eating. Everybody knows about her feelings towards him and most Ravenclaws supports her. You feel bad for the Potter boy, it is quite obvious that he fancies Chang but on her list, he will always be number 2. For the past 6 years, you never had a single friend and you aren't sure of the reason behind it. Every year, you study hard and normally is the best student in each classes. This makes it hard for you to drop a subject when you need to because whatever is easy to you, is enjoyable. Like in fourth year, you had to drop Arithmancy because it was too much work and you didn't take Ancient Runes for 6th year even though you are really good at it. Being studious have its downside, like how you never have time to even try to make some friends. It did come as a shock to you that Cedric sat next to you in Transfiguration today. He could've sat with his other friends, he is after all popular. You hope that he'll be a friend you can keep. You sigh and look at your half-eaten soup. You stand up and leave the hall. As you walk to the courtyard, you take out your wand and mutters the wand-lighting charm's incantation. The tip of your wand light up. Once in the courtyard, you find a tree and climb on it. You rest you head against the tree trunk and look up at the moon. It is a crescent moon. You take out your sketchbook and go on a clean page. You are about to begin sketching when someone walk into the courtyard. They chose to sit right against the tree you are on. If you make a sound, they are sure to have a heart attack. It's super dark outside and the courtyard is empty, you'll probably scare the living daylights out of them by just simply coughing or breathing to loud so you decide to sit perfectly still until this person goes away. You watch as they withdraw their wand and point it at the rock opposite them. When they open their mouth and say the incantation, you almost gasp aloud. Why is Cedric here? You keep running into him! Not that you mind but what is he doing here? You watch as he fails to transfigure the rock. You are tempted to help him but don't want to scare him. He tries again and again. You sit there on the tree, with each of his failed attempt, you want to scream out his mistake. After a while, the rock is transform into a black dog. Cedric seems to be very pleased with himself. He flick his wand and the dog turns back to a rock. He leans back against the tree and look up. At this, you panic and try to edge away. During your panic, the sketchbook falls out of your lap and smack him in the head. You wince.*
