8a- The Wendigo

Mercedes pulled away and stared at her. "What?"

"Beth's head. I found it." Emily whispered.

"Oh my god!" Ashley whimpered, curling up into the couch next to Mercedes.

"What the fuck?" Chris exclaimed.

"Are you serious?" Sam asked.

"Yes I'm serious!" Emily yelled before calming down. "I think they fell down there."

"Jesus Christ." Chris huffed.

"But the worst part is I don't think Hannah died, like, from the fall, not right away.." Emily trailed off.

"What? What do you mean?" Ashley whispered.

"I don't know.. I feel like she was down there.. like, starving to death.. for weeks.. when we were all up here looking for her.. we had no idea!" Emily whimpered.

"Jesus, that's.. horrible.." Chris mumbled.

"Listen! In.. in the tower there was a radio and I- I got through to someone - but that was right when the tower collapsed!" Emily exclaimed just as Mike suddenly bursted in.

"Em!" Mike exclaimed as soon as he saw her. Emily stood up and rushed to him, wrapping her arms around him. "You made it!"

"Oh God, Mike.." Emily whimpered.

"What about Matt?" Mike asked.

"We're trying to figure that out." Ashley mumbled.

"And there was this 'monster' that was chasing her." Chris muttered.

"She's all messed up guys." Mike said quietly before looking at Emily and kneeling down to her level. "Emily? Hey, Em?"

Mercedes stayed sitting on the couch, looking up at them before furrowing her brows and looking around the room. She clenched her jaw and stood up.

"Mike.." She mumbled, staring at him.

"Yeah, 'Cedes?" He asked, looking over to her as he rubbed Emily's shoulders.

"Where's Josh?" She asked breathlessly.

He opened his mouth before closing it and looking at the ground. "I'm sorry, 'Cedes.."

"Do not fucking bullshit me right now, Michael. Where is Josh?" Mercedes asked, glaring up at him as she moved closer, Emily backing out of Mike's hold to give Mercedes room.

"I.. fuck, I heard Emily scream and was worried so I came running. We can go and get him now-" Mike was cut off by the sound of a banging on the door.

"Who the fuck can that be?" Mike hissed, looking away from Mercedes who was still glaring at him.

Sam sighed and held onto Mercedes' wrist, tugging her back to sit on the couch with her, wrapping her arm around her shoulders.

"Josh maybe?" Ashley asked.

"Jess?" Chris suggested.
