First Burn (Song Request)

There was a peaceful silence as birds chirped overhead. There were three in particular, one yellow, one blue, and one red. Marinette smiled.

"Funny how our annoyance and love of Adrien brought us together." The others smiled as well. Marinette turned to Kagami.

"How would you like to join us and destroy Lila and potentially ruin Adrien's social life in the process?" Kagami blinked.

"I beg your pardon?"

You published the letters she wrote you

The next day, all three girls joined the Destruction Squad (they would work on the name later) as they ate their lunches and discussed their findings. Aurore agreed to post the video evidence on her blog, which suddenly had more followers than Alya since all she posted nowadays were Lila's lies. If Alya ever read the comments, some people called out the stories. That was a mistake that she would learn later.

Nino agreed to help edit the video and put everything together. He had to be extremely careful with his job, since technically being the editor could make people think they fabricated the evidence. Luckily for them, a majority of footage had eye witnesses who could testify what they saw.

The others in Bustier's class agreed to silently listen in to Lila and her conversations. They noticed whenever someone tried to question her, she would change the topic. If the person asked to go back to the old topic, Alya would pounce on them on Lila's behalf for interrupting. Even if Lila isn't exposed, it would sure expose the toxic environment in the classroom. That would lead to their teacher being watched, which would still lead to downfalls. Either way, the liar was finished.

Along the way, Adrien noticed that Marinette was truly planning something and tried to stop them. Ivan body blocked him as he came close. Kagami was waiting outside with a sword while Chloe and Marc were flanked on Marinette's side. They refused to let Adrien get near her until their plan was launched.

And soon enough, it was.

At last, by the end of that month, Lila's lies were discovered. Lila was arrested and being questioned for all her lies against celebrities while her mother cried at how much freedom she allowed her daughter. She knew there was no way she was letting her daughter off scot-free, and let the police take her to juvie. When she is old enough, she will be sent to an adult prison. Along with charges on bullying, cyberbullying, and harassment, there was also a chance she was working with their local terrorist. Those sentences will keep Lila in jail for a good amount of time.

Alya's blog was taken down and she was hit with a bunch of lawsuits. When she crawled back to Marinette to apologize, she was turned away.

"I warned you countless times, but you just didn't listen! You made your bed, now go lay in it!" Marinette refused to talk to Alya ever again, and even got a restraining order with the help of Chloe. Alya was stuck with debts she couldn't pay and a ruined repuation because she didn't believe her best friend.

The others in the class apologized to Marinette, but they weren't forgiven as easily. Marinette gave them a similar deal, but also added in how she preferred if they lost contact with her. They understood and left her alone.

According to Adrien, he was somehow facing the worst treatment of all. How can being isolated by those around you be worse than staying in jail for the rest of your life? Or being stuck with debts  that would take several lifetimes to pay off?

Since Adrien had a hand in Lila's lies, people stopped communicating with him and he was left alone. Just like Marinette was. No one wanted to be associated with a liar's pet. He eventually moved back into homeschool, then moved to London to live with his cousin after Hawkmoth was exposed.

Adrien felt completely alone while Marinette was living her life. There was one thought roaming his mind every night as he tried to sleep.

If he just agreed to take down Lila with her, would things have been different?
