" What's done? " Mridaangi asked looking up at me and I couldn't help but stare at her lips. It was red. So red and wet and soft. Oh how I would love it to be wrapped around my dic- damn. No! Not now. She needs to eat. How will she perform. No! I mean how weak she is. Yes. She needs to take care of herself.

" Just a nice and perfect deserving surprise for you love. My girl " I said looking into her eyes and I could see her widening her eyes and looking at Kabir and then at me and then she signed me to bend down. She is perfectly short. I love her. When I bend down at her level, she came near my ear and whispered " dev, be more considerate please. What if that man feels bad enough to work continuously and not getting time to spend with his girl and here we are literally PDA-ing stuff. Bad habit dev " she was scolding me, nice and I couldn't help but smirk at it. I nod at her while looking into her eyes and said " Kabir are you in a relationship with anyone " and that startled both of them. Well my baby was now more embarrassed and I'm sure might be cursing hard and Kabir was confused as I never talk about relationship and stuff. Kabir, vikram, mihir and I've been together since our 9th standard. While I've known Vikram and mihir since my kindergarten days but Kabir.... Well we three met Kabir in 9th standard and rest is history. A good one I might add.

" No. Not that I'm aware of " he said while raising his one eyebrow at me amusingly.

" Good. Your bhabhi over here is worrying about you feeling left out and want- " before I could finish she slammed her palm over my mouth and said " kuchh nahi. Kuch bhi toh nhi dev. Nothing. I wanted nothing. Let us eat. Hmm" she said while glaring at me and I couldn't help but nod and I could see Kabir mouthing whipped at me. Caazo.

While we settled on our seats, I saw Kabir turning around and heard mridaangi saying " कबीर भैया, आप किधर चले? आएं ना, खाना तो खालें। " Ok I wasn't expecting her to address Kabir as bhaiya. I need to warn him before he says something wrong to her. My baby is so kind.

" bhaiya " kabir said with such a low pitch that it made me wondered, how will he react now. " Yup. Kabir bhaiya come sit. I'll serve you too. Come fast. You know dhosa is something we should eat all garam garam. " She said while giggling at the end. My girl. My mridaangi.

Kabir just did exactly what she said and kept staring at her. Ok I know his intentions are pure but no one gets to stare at her. She is mine to stare at, so I said " Kabir mere bhai, eat " and with that he started eating it with a smile. A normal genuine smile. Good, my girl made him smile too and that too after so long a girl has made her smile after what his sister did to him. I could see him accepting mridaangi and her calling him as bhaiya " I've brought ice cream too. Almost all of the flavours in cones and tub variety. It's in there, at the kitchen inside the fridge. You want some? " He said. Why would he do that. She is my girl, I need to pamper her. Now what if she feels, I don't care about her or worst I'm not a right choice for her. I could hear her squealing and get amazed at Kabir for doing the bare minimum any one could have done for her. My girl is so naive. " Yes please. That's so nice of you bhaiya. You know what dev is taking me to his house. Till then me and dev are free. Can you please stay back too. We will watch something. Hmm.....let us watch the Godzilla×Kong : the new empire. It has just released. Dev ask him to stay na " she said looking at me at last and before I could deny that fucker Kabir replied " I will stay mridaangi. He doesn't have to request me to stay. Let us eat fastly and I'll let the staff know to arrange certain things for you " ok that's enough " no. He needs to complete certain important things by tonight. He can't stay. You are not going to stay over here " I said firmly and I could see him smirking at me. Nice now he is using my girl against me " No. Mridaangi said I need to be here and watch that movie with you two. So I'll be here. Right kid " he said looking at her and she nodded at that and look at me with a cute kissable pout and said "can we all watch that movie together dev" and I couldn't help but nod at her. I need to kiss her. No she needs to kiss me. No we need to kiss right now. Yes.

"Whipped" Kabir muttered. Keep being jealous my boy.

After finishing our food and resisting my urge to punch him we moved to the theatre area and while watching the movie I couldn't help but feel happy for Kabir to have someone he could consider as his sister and I know for sure my girl will never hurt anyone ever.

It was almost 5 and mridaangi took her time to talk to her brothers and I for certain reasons have a feeling that her brother prateek knows about my feeling for mridaangi. He knows it. I know this. He knows those guards are somehow related to me and yet he let them be near her. Either he is really dumb or he knows my plan. Good for him for the latter one.

Right now me and mridaangi, we both are in our car, on our way back to my home soon to be my mridaangi's too. I'm so happy that she atleast is trying to trust me but I do know that her trusting me has more into it then she is showing but till she is with me i don't give a damn about any whatsoever reason that could be.
I was at the security check point of our mansion and my guards were all informed about today's importance and I could see them behaving exactly they need to be. I could sense her nervousness so I took her hand in my hand and entwined our fingers and said " they are going to love you and don't overthink my love " and she gave me her sweet, soothing smile and said " I trust you " and look ahead. That is more than enough for me.

When I was about to enter in, I heard my mom yelling at us "stop right there you two." and mridaangi stilled at her place.
