Nico: Who, the guy in the house? No
Marcella: Ok, good. Who knows what kind of evil that book could have brought?

Marcella: Don't worry. I plan to do just that
(Nico keeps walking, and he finds a small cave)
Nico: This has to be it
(He walks through a wooden door, and he goes inside. He finds a lot of armed bear traps, and is careful not to step on any of them)
(He gathers seeds of the punga fruit, but as soon as he pulls the seed from the last plant, he gets hit in the face by a blast of gas)
Nico: This is gonna suck...
(He starts to get hallucinations of bombs dropping near him)
Voice: Oh, this doesn't look right, does it? Not at all...
Nico: It's just a hallucination... It's not real...
(He knows that it isn't real, but then his arm gets a burn on it)
Nico: Ok, feels pretty real to me!
(When the bombs stop, there are a lot of ghost-ghouls, and they all rush towards Nico. He picks up a stick and tries to stab one in the head, but it just fades away to dust)
Voice: Tsk tsk. Walked into another trap again. Just how stupid are you?
Nico: Alrighty then...
(Nico whacks the ghost-ghouls one by one until they all fade to dust)
Voice: This is one situation you're not going to be able to fight your way out of
(Nico sees hallucinations of ragdolls and a huge needle sewing threads into the ground. He also sees a few trees transform into violins and start playing)
Nico: I must be losing my mind... I have to be...
(Nico starts walking, but then everything fades to darkness)
(When it lights up again, he's back in vault 101, and there is a hospital bed with a skeleton in it. The bed is labeled "Mom". In front of the bed is a shattered family portrait)
Nico:... Mom?
Voice: Sheesh. If my kid looked like that, I'd abandon it too
Nico: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
(When Nico looks behind him, he sees a skeleton in a dress, a skeleton in a lab coat, and many skeletons in vault suits)
Voice: Dead family, life in a post-nuclear wasteland, and not a friend in it. Yeah, you aren't exactly blessed
Nico: That's not true!
(Nico begins to see hallucinations of James, Catherine, Amata, Owyn, and Sarah)
Voice: Isn't it funny how you destroy everything you touch?
(The hallucinations begin to fall dead one by one)
James: You're a disappointment to me
(Falls)
Catherine: I would have lived a long and happy life if you hadn't come along
(Falls)
Amata: You ruined my life! You ruined my family! You ruined everything!
(Falls)
Owyn: The brotherhood of steel is tainted by your touch
(Falls)
