THE ROYALS

Prologue

   The clattering and frantic footsteps of the maids echoed through the vast expanse of the household, as they scurried about with a sense of unease at the impending arrival of their employer and his family from their vacation. The head maid stood poised at the forefront of the group, her hands clasped together in a gesture of respect, ready to welcome her boss back home.

   Morris Eric is a man of great renown and is widely known as a member of the royal family. His reputation as a noble and honorable man extends beyond his social status, and even in modern society, he remains one of the most respected individuals of our time. Morris values his family above all else and is deeply committed to their well-being.
Morris is married to a beautiful woman, and together they are blessed with two children, Andrew and Violet. Andrew is his first son, while Violet is his second and only daughter. Both children are popular among their peers, thanks to their exceptional beauty, wealth, and background.

However, Morris's life has not always been one of luxury and privilege. He has worked hard to reach the success and recognition he enjoys today. Morris remains grounded and dedicated to his family and principles despite his current status.
    Morris had a first love before his marriage, and her name was Amber. Despite his feelings for her, He was forced to leave Amber and marry the woman his family had chosen for him, Aria Eric. Morris was unaware of the fact that Amber was pregnant, which made the situation even more complicated. Although Amber was devastated by the news, she never held any grudges toward Morris because she understood his position and knew he was a good man. However, this only made her feel worse, realizing even after all that had happened, she was still concerned for him and wanted him to be all right because only she knew how great he truly was.
He remained faithful to himself even after getting married. He never once cheated on his wife, even though he longed for Amber. He didn't have it in him to cheat on Aria.

Amber, on the other hand, was deeply hurt and scarred by the turn of events. She could not bear seeing the man she loved with another woman. Unable to cope with the emotional turmoil, she decided to leave without informing him about the child they had together. However, there might be more to the story than what meets the eye.

After giving birth to her son, she promised to take care of him in her way.
   Many years had gone by since her baby was born, and now he was a lively four-year-old. She had been doing a fantastic job looking after him, but life took an unexpected turn. After suddenly becoming a single mom without a steady source of income, she went through a tough faze. To make matters worse, her child was seriously ill, and she urgently needed money for his treatment.
   After months of fruitless efforts, she found herself reluctantly reaching out to Morris for help. As Morris laid eyes on the child, an uncanny resemblance to his father was unmistakable. However, Aria was skeptical and demanded a DNA test for confirmation. After the results came back, it was confirmed that the child was indeed his son. He then decided to take in both the mother and son under his care, despite Aria's objections. He valued his family and couldn't let Amber bear the burden alone. And thus, the narrative unfolds on this exciting and inspiring journey of how Amber’s little boy bravely faces life's challenges and is called Alex Eric.
