The Light within Darkness

Chapter -7

Something hits me. The pain didn't register at first. My vision started to go blurry. I tried to speak but it came out incoherently. I tried to control my breathing as the pain started to get unbearable. It felt as if someone has taken a huge chunk out of my neck. I tried to push his head away from my neck but it only spurred him more as he bit me even harder and deeper then before. And when he finally lifted his head, he looked like something straight out of horror movies with blood dripping down his mouth, eyes pure golden and growls coming deep within his chest. 

"You marked me...." I slurred as realization dawned upon me as I hold onto him for dear life. His eyes completely trained on me as he slowly sensually licked his lips and groaned out loud in what looked like utter pleasure. It felt like I was falling into the abyss. My mind was on whole other level as the pain started taking over my body. Mind and body completely disconnected. He loosened his arms just a little bit to let me breathe. I didn't realize he buried his head again in my neck as I took mouthful of air. 

I felt him licking my neck and the sensation was so strong that my knees buckled. If it weren't for him holding me, I would have probably lost my balance. The black spots started dancing in front of me and I felt darkness slowly takeover but not before I hear his deep voice for the first time in eleven years.

"Now nobody can take you away from me ever again"

"Beta....." Freja started but I stopped her before she could finish. I love the smell of fear radiating from her. I grinned flashing my fangs at her. I can hear her heart beating fast, it's sound like music to my ears. She is the best in what she does. A strong she wolf born into a nameless family, she has proven her worth again and again and carved her name among the elites. This is exactly why he chose her for this operation.

"Freja, I am disappointed in you. You are the best tracker wolf there is. I put a lot of faith in you when I send you on this quest. Because of you I have disappointed my King. You have embarrassed me in front of the whole pack" my voice echoed across the forest. I want to hurt her so badly but not right now. This is a sacred moment for our King. I won't let her or my anger ruin it. It can wait.

She took the knee in front of me with her head bowed down submissively in the dirt right outside this small cottage. "Beta I wanted to but these territories have been swirling with rogues. I tried many times to send you information my whereabouts but somehow it never reached you. And there isn't a single damn telephone in this god forsaken town. Some of the packs had grown so bold that they started hiring humans and lone wolves to find the Queen. I couldn't compromise her safety by leaving her here all alone" she says carefully.

"How long have you been here" my voice hard. I am in no mood to hear excuses.

"A little over two months Beta" she says quietly. "And where is she, the witch whore?" I grind out. That cunning whore had fooled us all with her lies but not this time. But still I should be thankful to her if it weren't for her we wouldn't be here. I would love to watch her slowly break apart when I tell her how her own sisters sold her out for their freedom. I grinned evilly at the thought.

"She is tied up in my cottage..." before Freja could finish I sensed someone, someone I have never thought I'll see ever again. My wolves instantly on high alert, in the process of full blown shift ready to strike.

"What's going on here. Freja?" her innocent confused eyes looked instantly alarmed after it moved from my wolves to Freja. "Oh dear lord!! Freja come here, what are they doing to you? Are you the werewolves after Raya. You should be ashamed of yourself terrorizing lone single women" she shouted loudly. Her expressions changed so fast from fear to shock to anger as she pointed her beautiful fingers at my wolves. All the wolves positioned themselves in threatening stance. 

I couldn't take my eyes off her. She looks like a fairy descend on earth from the heavens . A blessing. Words can't describe how I feel right now. Never in my wildest dream I thought I'll find her here out of all places. I have tried so hard to find her for years but she disappeared from the face of earth. She looks mature, breathtaking ,not like the small young shy girl I met all those years ago. I wonder if she still remembers me. I haven't seen anyone as beautiful as her. My eyes roamed around her gorgeous face, her body memorizing every single detail on it.

Irun moved swiftly towards her, ready to claw her heart out but I moved faster than him. I struck him so hard that the impact had him flying backwards at least few feet away from us. But I didn't care about him or anyone for that manner. My eyes never leaving her, taking every inch of her body. My wild was going absolute berserk in my head. I was one step away from a full blown shift. The amount of energy used in containing my wolf inside was tremendous. I was fighting for absolute power something I haven't done since I was a newly shifted pup. Only she can make me loose control this way.

She looked towards me in fear and realization dawned upon those pretty eyes. Her eyes widened in horror as she took a step back in absolute fear. She looked breathtaking even when she's frightened. I never thought I'll see her ever again. I don't think I even deserve to be in her presence. I have been slowly loosing my sanity as years go by but today I think I have completely lost it. 

I take a step towards her and she takes several backwards. "RAYA!! WHERE ARE YOU? RAYA" she screamed loudly while continuing moving backwards. She turned around sharply and started running in the direction which she came from. This spurred my wolf so much that he started going absolute crazy with excitement, if there's anything he enjoys it is a good chase and this is the battle I don't plan on loosing.
