59. Race recap

Nando: I'm happy because of the ring you put on my finger Amor, and I still am your Fernando I'm just happy you proposed. It took you long enough.

Mark: Did it take too long for you?

Nando: I mean we've been together for almost 14 years now, and Nico proposed to Lewis after 8 years so you took your time.

Mark: I'm sorry Fer, still happy I proposed though?

Fernando pulled his head up looking me in the eye before saying.

Nando: Ofcource Markie, I'm joking.

I hugged him tightly whispering that I know.

The alarm went off again before we got out of bed.

We split our ways when we walked out of the elevator to eat our breakfast.

I ate alone with Seb, Jenson was late again and Nico didn't sleep at the hotel.

Seb and I walked to the paddock together, walking into the paddock we almost got hit by Lewis on his scooter.

We walked into the sky building going to the commentary room. When we sat down Jenson came in after a minute or 10.

Jenson: Heyy Markie good job man!

I laughed a bit but thanked him. When Seb's eye also fell on my ring finger and the ring on it.

Seb: Nice ring man, looks good. Any special reason for it?

Before I could answer we heard a knock on the door. After a quick yea from Jenson, Nando came walking in.

Nando: Can I come and sit here for a bit?

I nodded laughing. While Jenson stood up and pulled Nando in a hug.

Jenson: Congratulations buddy.

Nando: Thank you bud.

Jenson let go of Nando before Nando sat down on my lap.

Seb: Hello my question.

I intertwined my fingers with Nando's before I answered Seb showing him our hands.

Mark: I proposed to Fer yesterday. And Fer said yes.

Seb pulled the both of us in a hug immediately congratulating the two of us.

Then the door opened again. Now Nico walking in, as far as you could call it walking because it looked more like stumbling than walking.

Nando pulled himself off my lap before I walked towards Nico.

Mark: You good man?

Nico: Yea- all fine.

Seb: You don't look fine.

Then he spotted the ring on my finger, he smiled at me genuinely.

Nico: Congratulations for you two both, I'm impressed Mark didn't back out.

I gave him a push against his chest, this gave an other reaction then I expected, normally Nico would laugh but now he just screamed in pain.

Nico: I'm fine.

Mark: No, Nic you never are in pain so if you scream in pain it's very wrong.

Nico: It's not so bad.

I grabbed my phone and called Lewis.

Lewis: Yea?

Mark: Get ur ass here!
