Don't do that shit, be better.

"Sorry, I can move-." Juliette offered, but Jasmine placed a hand on her arm, giving her a reassuring smile as she squeezed it softly.

Okay good, you don't hate me for my bad joke. I'd have to kill myself if you did... Severe reaction, yes, but needed.

"Nah, you're good. It's a tired sort of day." She said, and Juliette nodded. That sounded like exactly what she had been thinking.

"I'm glad you agree." She leaned around Jasmine.  "Pssst."

"What, J?" Shelby asked, already sounding bored with her antics.

Asshole.

"This is the most boring thing in the entire world and you're so lucky I love you." Juliette hissed, and Shelby rolled her eyes, reaching across Jasmine to smack her leg lightly, or as lightly as Shelby could manage. She grimaced, rubbing the spot as she gave her a look.

That had sort of felt like she'd wound up, which didn't really seem necessary.

"It literally hasn't even started yet; can't you give it a chance?" Shelby asked, and Juliette sighed, slumping down in her seat a little bit as she did... Obviously she was giving it a chance by being here, that didn't make sitting here and waiting for it to start any less boring.

She hated waiting.

"Ugh... Well, this Hazel woman better be one hell of a speaker, because I could still be asleep right now." Juliette said, and Shelby sighed again, giving her a look from behind Jasmine.

Okay, damn.

"No one said you had to come with." See, she had a point there... But the idea of missing something was almost more heartbreaking than the fact that she would have to sit through all of this bullshit.

"Right, but I didn't want to miss it." She gave Shelby a shrug. "Just in case, you know?" She asked, and Shelby rolled her eyes, giving her a half smile as she reached around to pat her leg lightly.

"You are the strangest woman I have ever met in my entire life." Well.  That just wasn't true, now was it?

"Okay, well I find that very hard to believe, but I'll allow you your delusion." She said, and Shelby snorted, rolling her eyes before she looked over at her with a level of affection that never failed to make Juliette's heart squeeze.

It was nice to be loved in spite of herself.

"How sweet of you." Juliette said, and Shelby chuckled, nodding as she opened her mouth to speak, only to stop with a confused expression on her face, her eyes focusing on someone just above Juliette's head.

Oh, I don't like lurking, what is that?

"Is this seat taken?" She jumped a bit even though she knew someone was there and closed her eyes, hoping to god it wasn't obvious just how startled she had been by someone who she knew was there the whole time.

"Hm?" She looked over to see a girl maybe a year or two older than her standing beside her in a frayed pair of jeans, a worn old tshirt, and a black hoodie with faded lettering... She liked her piercings though, two upper lip rings and an eyebrow ring. "Oh, no. That one's open." She said, and the girl smiled, flashing her a large smile... She had a nice one, Juliette liked the gap in her front teeth and how white her smile was against the dark of her skin.

"Amazing, are you three excited? Dr. Quinlen's research is revolutionary, it's so cool that she'll be right in front of us." She said, and Juliette nodded, folding one leg over the other as she slid down in her seat a bit.
