Euphony ? :: Modern AU GI + HSR X F!Reader

| 2 :: First Day |

"Y/n?" You stopped when you heard a very, very familiar voice. You turned around only to be met with... Xion!!!

The black haired boy quickly took a step towards you, extending his arm to cover both you and him with his umbrella. "What are you doing? You'll get sick." He questioned, his face not expressing any emotion yet his eyes showed it all.

You took your bag off your head and laughed awkwardly. "Well... you see... I didn't know it was going to rain so I didn't bring an umbrella, and I couldn't go back home because I'll end up being late."

Xion nodded, understanding what you said before averting his eyes for a moment then looking back at you. He cleared his throat to speak, "would you like to... stay under my umbrella?" He spoke slowly, embarrassment seeping into his voice.

You smiled. "Sure! Thanks Xion." You moved to stand next to your friend, practically touching shoulders to fit under one umbrella. As you walked in a comfortable silence apart from the rain droplets hitting the ground, you failed to notice the faint tint of pink on the boy's face.

After a few more minutes of walking, Xion broke the silence by saying, "So, why didn't you bring an umbrella or coat? Did you not check the weather?" You smiled nervously and replied, "I ah... forgot to check it this morning, ehe."

Xion shook his head and sighed. "You need to be more cautious. I'm glad I saw you while walking, otherwise..." he trailed off, not finishing his sentence. You giggled and nodded as you both finally neared your destination.

Woah...

It was massive. In fact, even massive is an understatement.

A large path decorated with trees, benches and lampposts on the sides led to a middle building which you supposed was the main building that contained areas like the cafeteria, hall and gymnasium. On the left was another building with 4 floors that looked a bit more cozy, no doubt this was the dorms. Then on the right was a building that was attached to the middle which was probably where all the classrooms were.

All in all, it was a beautiful campus.

The rain had also subsided shortly after, light enough for Xion to put his umbrella away so you both can feel the comfort of the rain on your skin. A refreshing smell of petrichor filled the air, relaxing your nerves as you walked past the cherry blossom trees that were planted on both sides of the path.

When you entered you saw a reception desk at the front, and behind it were huge stairs that parted ways in the middle, leading to the second floor. There were only a few students scattered about as most had already gone to the assembly hall.

"Welcome. Please tell me your names." A woman spoke up from the desk. She had long, teal hair and pale skin. Her indigo eyes looked rather tired, as if she had been sat in her chair for hours.

You stepped forwards to reach her, Xion following behind. "I'm Y/n L/n, nice to meet you miss!" The woman nodded as she typed away at her computer then looked at your friend. "And you?"

"Xion Yasu." The woman nodded again, going back to typing before reaching into her drawers and pulling out 2 separate keys with cards attached to them. She handed them to you and Xion. "Please head to the assembly hall on the right. Everything you need to know will be told there."

You smiled at her brightly, taking your key before grabbing your friend's hand and taking him with you. "Thank you, and have a nice day miss!!"
