Suddenly, Vittoria felt the air shift on the bench beside her. Opening her eye slightly she saw someone she hadn't seen in a little while, no matter their constant texting.

Gasping Vittoria squealed, making her dog jump up and bark. "Tommy!"

Vittoria leapt from her spot, still holding onto Carina's leash and hugged Tom over his broad shoulders, nuzzling her face into his weirdly warm neck.

She smiled brightly as she pulled back, seeing Tom looking down at her with a soft look in his beautiful icy blue eyes. "V" was all he said as he looked straight into her eyes, there are no words in the English language that could explain the emotions conveyed deep in Tom's eyes.

They got interrupted from their heated stare off by a whine coming down from their feet, looking down at the goldendoodle Vittoria smiled and immediately put her arms around her dogs shoulders, hugging her tightly.

While she hugged her baby as she called her, Carina hugged her back somehow and looked directly at Tom with curiosity in her dark eyes.

As Vittoria pulled back from yet another hug she couldn't help but beam, her two favourite beings were finally meeting, although the one didn't know that. The other one surely did as she was told every moment of everyday.

"Tom meet my baby; Carina. Carina meet tommy!" she exclaimed happily, as she clapped her hands together repeatedly in a childish manner.

An action that made Tom look down at her with longing, not that she noticed though, too busy looking at 'her baby'.

Tom put his hand down towards Carina's snout where she continued to sniff his hand until she completely walked over towards Tom and started to lean up against his legs, with her head in his lap, looking up towards him through her eyebrows.

Vittoria let out a hurt gasp, "How dare you Carina! You picked him over me? Your own mother! The nerve on you." she spoke animatedly as she moved her hands around in many different motions that had nothing to do with what she was talking about.

To her horror and leading to her just opening her mouth wider, Carina simply situated her head to still rest in Tom's lap, just looking in the opposite direction from Vittoria's scrutinising glare.

While Vittoria's jaw was dropped in a mixture of shock and hurt, Tom started chuckling while he petted Carina's light fur. Looking at Tom with a hurt expression, she hit his arm hard, although it didn't seem like it took much effort out of her.

" Don't encourage this behaviour Tommy!"

"I didn't even say anything!" he exclaimed as he lifted his one hand in surrender, rubbing his arm with his other from where Vittoria hit him. Moving his hand resulted in Carina whining for his pets again, and he complied.

"You didn't need to say anything! She obviously will do this again because you laughed, she thinks it's alright to be rude to her mother!" Vittoria muttered rapidly as a horror stricken look resided on her flushed face.

Whether it was flushed because of the cold weather or Tom's close presence, she wasn't too sure.

"Okay, okay I'm Sorry. I will teach Carina how wrong her ways were" Tom said as he reached to grab Vittoria's cold hands and put them into his warm ones.

All he get in return was an annoyed huff and Vittoria turned around from facing him, and leaned against Tom's shoulder, facing away from both Carina and Tom.

Tom looked between Carina and Vittoria, back and forth, back and forth. And had to suppress a chuckle from escaping up his throat. Vittoria and Carina were exactly the same, in human and animal form. Both kind and loving, but both extremely moody and sassy.
