After 5 minutes the milk was ready. Tony wondered whether to pour it into a sippy cup (yes, Tony had ordered one especially for Peter about a week ago) or whether Peter was too big for it.

He decided that even if Peter shouldn't drink from it anymore, he was fine with it, and it was just a matter of the boy's comfort.

"Hey, Petey."

"Yes?" asked Peter in a sleepy voice.

Tony smiled in his soul at the adorable sight before him. Peter seemed so tiny on the big couch in his cute blue-and-white checkered pajamas.

"Could milk be in this cup?" The sippy cup bore an image of Winnie the Pooh, although Tony barely restrained himself from buying the boy something with an Avengers theme.

Peter had been drinking in normal glasses for a long time, but he decided he didn't mind. Aunt May always made him grow up too fast.

"Hmm, sure."

Tony walked over to Peter, sat down next to him, adjusted his blanket and handed him the milk. As the animated Star Wars flickered in the background and Tony combed his fingers through Peter's hair, the boy immediately relaxed and his eyelids began to droop.

At one point, halfway through the cup, Tony began to massage Peter's stomach, which made the boy swoon and feel even happier.

When 1/4 of the milk was left Peter drifted off for good. Tony lifted the kid with one hand under his knees and the other holding his back.

Tony quietly carried the boy upstairs and put him to bed. As Tony walked across the threshold of Peter's room door the boy began to wake up a bit.

Shh, it's okay, sleep now, I'm here.

These words worked magic, as the kid closed his eyes again and fell asleep. When Tony left Peter's room, the man spoke to his artificial intelligence.

"FRIDAY, next time notify me right away about such a situation."

"Yes, Sir."

Tony descended the elevator again to the Avengers floor expecting to find harsh. To his surprise, everyone was sitting quietly, as if they weren't getting ready for a mission 40 minutes ago, and Tony was hallucinating.

"Are you not in a hurry?"

"Not necessarily. We know you're busy today, so we'll go on this mission on Tuesday. Be ready, Tony."

"Sure thing."

"How is Peter doing there?" Asked a concerned Steve.

"He's fine now, sleeping like a log. I just don't know what exactly triggered his nightmare."

"He's a kid Tony, he probably saw some adult movie, and now there are consequences," said Wanda.

"Maybe" Tony didn't think about it any longer, but in the long run he should be more concerned about it...

"Wake up Tony!"

"Oh, don't jump all over me, you little bastard."

It was 7:00 in the morning. Tony was violently woken up by an 8-year-old who decided to jump on his stomach.

"Jesus, kid, do you want to break me?" Tony started tickling Peter making Peter giggle maniacally and roll onto his back.

"Tony, stop," Peter giggled again.

"Yes, continue? Alright!"

"No, Tony!" Peter wriggled from laughing.
