3rd Person POV:
Remedial Goodness 101
"If someone hands you a crying baby, do you, A, curse it? B, lock it in a tower? C, give it a bottle? Or D, carve out its heart?" Fairy Godmother asks. Evie raises her hand. "Evie." "What was the second one?" Evie asks. "Oh, okay. Anyone else?" Fairy Godmother asks before looking at Mal who doesn't seem to be paying any attention as she is drawing in her notebook.
"Mal?" Fairy Godmother asks. "C, give it a bottle." Mal answers. "Correct. Again." Fairy Godmother smiles. "You are on fire, girl!" Carlos says. "Just pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun." Mal explains. "Oh." Carlos says excitedly. "That makes so much sense."
While outside of the door; Tatiana's POV:
"Come on Jane. I'm going inside with you!" I say to Jane because she has to go into the Remedial Goodness 101 class to give Fairy Godmother something to sign. "Well it's easy for you because you like everyone!" Jane squeaks. "Come on Jane, I promise they won't do anything! I won't let them even touch you the simplest bit." "Fine." Jane mumbles. "Yes!" I say before I open the door and walk in in front of Jane protectively."Oh..." I hear Mal say as we walk past them and Jane squeaks. "Hey, Fairy Godmother!" I say excitedly. "Hello, dear ones." Fairy Godmother says. "Hi. You need to sign off on early dismissal for the coronation." Jane says nervously as she hands the clipboard to her mom. And turns around and looks at the Villains with fear in her eyes.
"Everyone here remembers my daughter, Jane?" Fairy Godmother introduces her daughter. "Mom, no!" Jane squeaks, making me giggle slightly. "Jane it's alright." I whisper to her. "It's okay. Jane, this is everyone." Fairy Godmother says seemingly not hearing that I had already said that. "Hi. That's okay, don't mind me. As you were." Jane says rushing out the door without me.
As I'm about to leave Fairy Godmother stops me. "Mind staying behind to help me with them?" She whispers. "Not at All!" I say and sit on a table closest to the board. "Ahem. Let's continue." I say making everyone look forward. "You find a vial of poison. Do you, A, put it in the king's wine? B, paint it on an apple? Or C, turn it over to the proper authorities?" Fairy Godmother says as Evie smiles at one of the answers, one specific answer, the Apple answer. "Oh! Ooh... get off." Carlos says. I look over at the boys and Celine who's in the middle of them and see Jay pushing Carlos's hand down.
"Jay." I say. "C. You turn it over to the proper authorities." Jay answers. "I was gonna say that." Carlos argues. "But I said it first. Come here!" Jay says as he ruffles Carlos's hair and gives him an noogie. "Ow!" Carlos says as Celine tries to stop them but they all just end up on the floor, fighting.
"Come on, who said it first? Who said it first?" Jay taunts. "Ow!" Carlos says. "Stop!" Celine yells. "Ah!" Carlos says. "Jay! Carlos! Celine!" I yell as they stop and stand up, Celine dusts herself off. "I am gonna encourage you to use that energy on the tourney field. And Celine, I'm going to encourage you to use that energy for the cheer squad!" Fairy Godmother says. "Oh, no. That's okay. Whatever that is, We'll... We'll pass." Carlos and Celine say at the same time. "I can show Jay and Carlos to the coach, and get Celine with the Cheer team!" I say as I feel, Celine stare at me, not with hatred, but with interest. "Thank you, Tatiana." Fairy Godmother says.
Tourney field
"Hey coach!" I yell to coach Jenkins. "Ooh...what's up, Tatiana?" "I got you two new team members!" "Thanks" coach Jenkins says. I walk Celine to the Cheer team but she stops walking as we get closer. "What's wrong?" I ask her. "Uhm....what's cheer?" Celine asks. "Ooh...uhm...you'll see! And uhm...if you don't like it, I could get you into track? That's what I'm doing at the moment!" I tell her. "I'd rather do whatever cheer is then run and get sweaty." She says. "Alright let's go!" We go to the team for her to try out. Celine is actually really flexible and, to much of Audrey's dismay, is just what the team needs. She made the team! She runs over to me excitedly. "Omg! Tati! I made the team!" Celine yells. "Congrats!" I cheer. "Donut?" I ask her waving one in her face. She politely takes it, "Thanks" She says. "No problem."
Hallway:
"Those kids are trouble!" Chad says as we walk through the hallway, he points at Evie, Mal, and Celine who's at Mal's locker. "Bye Mal." Evie says walking away, while Celine stays behind. "Bye." Mal replies. Evie and Celine had gotten into a fight recently and they currently weren't talking to each other. "Come on, Chad." I try. "Nope! I don't want to hear a single word from you! Tati." Chad argues. "Give them a chance." Ben says. "Oh. No offense, Bennybear, but you're just too trusting. Look, I know your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast who turned out to be a prince. And Tati's mom fell in love with a slimy reptile that also turned out to be a prince...But with my mom, the evil fairy was just the evil fairy. That girl's mother." Audrey spats. "I think you're wrong about them. I'll see you later." Ben says as Audrey and Chad walks off.
He then walks to Mal's locker with me trailing behind him. "Hey!" He says as Mal closes her locker, which has graffiti on it that says, 'Long Live Evil'. "Hey." Mal replies. "How was your first day?" I ask. "Super" Mal says as she winks at me and smiles.
"You should really think about taking this talent off the locker and into art class. I could, uh, sign you up. What do you think?" Ben asks her while looking at her locker before looking back at her and smiling. "Way to take all the fun out of it." Mal says and looks at Jane who is walking by into the bathroom. "I think it looks amazing on the locker." I say, making Ben frown. Mal looks at me and smiles, "Why Thank you!" She says and winks at me again before going to the bathroom. "Huh." Ben says. I laugh. "How are you getting along better with them than I am?" Ben asks confused. "Well it was originally my idea to bring them here! The only thing that could hold me back is if you didn't agree." I say as Ben sighs sadly.
I look at Celine forgetting that she was there. "Wassup." I say. She looks up, "Oh...hi...when did Mal leave?" Celine asks, the question more towards Ben then me. 'Oh well, Of course she still doesn't like me much' I think. "A few seconds ago. She's in the bathroom." Ben answers. "Cool..thanks.." Celine says as she walks away. "Bye Ben." I say as I make my way to Chemistry. "Bye" he says seemingly in a trance. I sigh and go to Chemistry.
