The Non Fairest Of Them All {Evie X Fem OC Reader} ?

Tourney field; Tatiana's POV:

"Ohayohay!" All the Cheerleaders (including Celine 😍) say. "This is a nail-biter, folks. There's 47 seconds left on the clock. We're all tied up. The Sherwood falcons, two. The fighting knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals." The announcer says. "Get 'em, Chad." Jay says. 'I knew they were good people' I think. "Thanks, Jay." Chad replies, confused, I roll my eyes before my gaze lands on Celine.

"The teams get into their huddles and take up positions along the kill zone. Akiho! The dragoneers have been laying down a withering hail of fire." The announcer says, but my gaze stays on Celine. The cheerleaders all start doing a cheer and Celine follows along perfectly. Celine then looks at the crowd by Mal and Evie. I was next to Evie and me and Celine lock eyes for just a second before she looks away. Tatiana lools at Evie's happy face before looking at the Tourney field.

"You're up." Coach Jenkins says to Jay. "And now a substitution..." The announcer says in to the microphone. "Coach, how about my buddy here?" Jay suggest holding Carlos's shoulders. "Oh, no. Not so sure about that." Coach Jenkins disagrees. "Coach, he's been practicing." Jay tries. "Jay..." Coach Jenkins starts. "And you said yourself a team is made up of a bunch of parts." Jay says. "Jay, I'm not that good." Carlos argues. "Well, he's kind of like my brain." Jay says. "Come here! You heard him. Get out there!" Coach Jenkins says. "Don't worry, bro. I got your back." Jay reassures. "How about my front?" Carlos asks. "Pfft. Get out there." Jay says.

"He's bringing that hothead Jay in from the Isle of the Lost and that little guy Carlos can barely hold a shield." The announcer says. "Break!" The whole team says. "When they break from their huddles, this is gonna be a big moment here. And the tipoff is ready. Here we go. Long pass goes to Jay. Jay dishes off to prince Ben. Nice little block by Carlos. He does a little dancing jig in his opponent's face. And now Jay gets the ball back. Here comes Jay! Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-field." The announcer announces. "I'm open!" Ben yells to Jay. "Jay makes a nice pass to Prince Ben through the kill zone." The announcer says. "Jay!" Ben yells. "Big block by Chad! Prince Ben moves over wide, gives it back to Jay. He's in the clear! Shot! Oh, what a save by Philip the Faalcons' goalkeeper!" The announcer continues.

"Come on! All right, all right, let's do it!" Ben says. "Come on, guys! Come on, hustle, hustle!" Coach Jenkins starts. "23 seconds left. You could cut the tension with a sword. The long ball is played into Jay. Jay, great jump, great leap. And a great move by Jay. Big block from Chad. Jay dishes off to Prince Ben. And then Carlos with a big block, goes down. Jay through the kill zone, picks up Carlos. Oh, he's being hammered by dragon fire. Still, going on. Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-field. He's in the clear. The ball goes back to Jay." The announcer announces. "Hey, Jay!" Carlos calls. "Carlos?" Jay asks, confused. "Go up!" Carlos says. Jay goes up and hits the ball off of Carlos's shield and passes to Ben. "Ben!" Carlos yells. "He passes to prince Ben. He scores! Prince Ben has won it! What an unselfish play by Jay! What a team! Incredible! And it's the new guys, Jay and Carlos, who set up the prince for the win here. What a victory! An absolutely wonderful end to one of the best games ever. Here they come, folks. The winners of the first tourn..."

Ben takes the microphone from the announcer. "Excuse me. Excuse me. Can I have your attention, please? There's something I'd like to say. Give me an 'M'!" Ben yells. "M!" The crowd and cheerleaders yell. "Give me an 'a'!" Ben yells. "A!" Everyone yells. "Give me an 'I'!" Ben yells. "L!" Everyone yells. "What does that spell?" Ben asks the crowd. "Mal!" We all yell. "Come on, I can't hear you!" Ben yells. "Mal!" We all yell back. "I love you, Mal! Did I mention that?" Ben says. "Oh..." Audrey says before running away. "Give me a beat! Whoo!" Ben says to the band. "Uno, dos, tres, quatro!" Doug says as the band starts playing. "Oh, my God!" Evie says. "What was in that cookie?" Mal asks at the time as Evie says, "Cookie!"
