Chapter 11

"Blair boto ako sakanya." He said and gives me a thumbs up.

"What? Boto? Boto saan?"

When he see my confuse face, he only laugh then continue eating. Sometimes I don't understand what comes out of Lolo's mouth. They're often confusing.

Natapos yung breakfast at hindi ko na inisip yung sinabi nya dahil hindi ko din naman yon maiintindihan. Nag ready na ako para sa meeting mamaya, kinuha ko na yung mga gamit ko tsaka bumaba.

Nakita kong naghihintay si Kian sa malapit sa pinto ng bahay kasama yung kotse. Agad nyang binuksan yung pinto ng backseat kaya agad din akong sumakay don. Matapos kong sumakay ay sinarado nya yon at sumakay sa drivers seat.

Nagsimula na syang mag drive. Nakita ko syang pasulyap sulyap sa akin na parang may gusto syang sabihin pero hindi ko na yon pinansin. Kinuha ko yung laptop ko at binuksan yon.

"Uhmm... Athena." I look at him when I heard his deep voice called my name.

"Yes?"

"Thank you for the gift yesterday." Napangiti ako dahil sa sinabi nya.

"Your welcome." Saad ko bago tumingin ulit sa laptop.

"It's still early in the morning at trabaho na agad inaatupag mo." Napatingin ulit ako sakanya.

Malayo pa yung tourism company ni Dad sa mansion ni Lolo kaya okay lang kahit wala akong gawin sa loob ng kotse. Is that why he said that?

"Uhh this is also work pero hindi about sa business ni Dad." Binalik ko ulit ang tingin sa laptop ko at kinalikot yon.

"It's not?" I nod my head in response.

"Yeah it's a council work. May sinend kasi sa akin si Waive about sa mga bagong batas na gusto nyang ipatupad and future events ng school. He wants to know my opinion so i'm looking into them." Dapat last month ko pa toh ginawa pero 'that incident' happen. "Ngayon ko lang nalingon."

Waive is too advance sometimes, pwede nya namang gawin yon pag nagsimula na yung school year.

Coming from me? Well can't blame him after a week ng pagpasok namin magiging busy na kami sa mga events, inspection and so on. Less trabaho pag ginawa na toh ng maaga.

Dapat kahapon ko toh gagawin but I didn't get the chance. I notice how his face immediately turn into a frown pero naglaho din yon agad na parang bula.

"I'm just gonna read them here since I have time, then i'll tell him my thoughts about it later." Bubuksan ko na sana yung files ng may naalala ako.

"Sh*t." I curse when i remember something. "Hindi ko pala na review yung paguusapan sa meeting mamaya."

I comb my hair in frustration and then sigh. Kasalan toh ni Dia eh dahil sa sinabi nya nawala tuloy sa isip ko yung mga files. Andami kong gagawin nakakastress.

"Someone looks stress. Tatanda ka nyan ng maaga." I heard him chuckled after saying that "You'll have wrinkles around your face. Puro ka kasi trabaho.p"

Agad ko syang tinignan ng masama pero mukhang hindi nya napansin yon dahin nakatutok sya sa pagdadrive. He'll always find a way to annoy me.

"Coming from you?"

"Madami akong trabaho pero hindi ganyan Athena." He put a smug look on his face after that. "And i'm still handsome even if I grow old."

"Ang lakas ng hangin." I commented.

"Just stating facts." I rolled my eyes at him and didn't say anything.

I focus on the laptop infront of me but instead of opening the file Waive gave me I open the file that I need to review kasi kailangan ko yon mamaya.
