"El's not stupid! It's not my fault you don't like girls!"

Silence struck the two boys as thunder roared in the cloud above them, rain heavier and harder practically signifying the break in Will's heart, the shock.

Mike sighed "Look, Will, I'm not trying to be a jerk but, did you really think it was just gonna be me and you for the rest of our lives?"

That hurt.

Will sniffled before wiping his face "Yea, I guess I did" Will began to walk away not wanting to face Mike any longer.

Clothes soaked, head pounding and especially heart broken he almost runs away from Mike.

"Will! Come back!" Will stops there and turns around "No Mike! I'm not coming back! How about you go find out where your little girlfriend is!"

Mike threw his hands in the air as they fell to his sides "Come one Will! You're being ridiculous!"

Will couldn't stand it and walked back over, trying to be calm.

"We built this place together, we came up with the name of the place together, we made this place the place it is together..!"

"No El, No Dustin, No Max, No Lucas, no nobody..! Just us Mike...just us..."

"All so you can throw it away to kiss El in the place that we used to hang out..."

"We can still hang out Will" "No! I don't wanna hang out with you anymore Mike! You have El now..."

Mike was kinda feeling the tears in his eyes as well, but if he let them fall they'd be drowned out by the rain.

"What are you saying Will?"

Will sighed, not wanting to say this, never wanting to say this, but he had to, maybe for the best.

"I'm saying we can't be friends anymore...goodbye Mike."

Will turned away quickly and picked up his pace as he ran back to his house.

Mike was left to stand there and cry as he saw his bestfriend run away from him.

"Will!" Will heard Jonathan call for him, and as he ran to the house Jonathan saw him.

"Hey bud whats wrong!?" He asked and Will didn't answer, he just ran into Jonathan's arms.

Jonathan hugged Will back immediately, he wanted to know what's wrong but he'd let Will tell him on his own time.

But in the back of his mind he slightly remembered a place where Will could've possibly been all this time.

"Did something happen with Mike?" Jonathan asked and Will nodded into his chest.

"We aren't friends anymore..." Jonathan nodded, he figured it had to be Mike, it always had been Mike.

Jonathan rolled his eyes, Jeez, Mike was always the cause if his little brothers tears, if Jonathan ever got his hands on Mike he wouldn't know what hit him.

Mike was currently biking to El's in tears, maybe she'd comfort him, maybe she'd be there for him now.

He got to El's and knocked on the door, El came to it and sighed.

"Hi Mike" Mike smiled and hugged her, El hugging back, "I missed you..."

Mike whispered and El nodded a bit "Yea Mike...we need to...talk" and those words made Mike pull away.

Could today get anymore worse now?
