"Fry come on lets go!" Thomas yelled as we ran away from the Cranks. he soon chased after us.
"Let's move" "Go! Go! Go!" "Run" We all yelled as we ran to the other side of the tunnel the Cranks not far behind.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Thomas said as a dozen or more Cranks came in front of us blocking the exit. I started thinking about George, about how I'll never know if he's alive or not.
"okay fry you got this?" Thomas questioned nocking me out of my thoughts.
"yeah" He replied shooting some behind us.
"Okay this way, this way!" Thomas said directing him to the Cranks in front as he shot some of them.
"Okay other way, other way" Thomas yelled again as Fry shot one last time before recocking his gun but nothing came out.
"I'M OUT!" he yelled as the Cranks started edging closer and closer before they were finally surrounding us.
Then out of luck to lights came from behind the cranks as a car made it towards us running over a few Cranks.
As It pulled up next to us we saw Brenda and Jorge.
"Alright get in!" She yelled as she got up and started shooting at the cranks. We all rushed to get in not wanting to be the buffe for the Cranks.
"Go jorge! Go!" I yelled as he pressed on the gas petal.
"Go! Go! go" Brenda yelled.
"Hang on" He said as he rammed through all the Cranks hitting most of them, after we got in front of all of them we looked back to see all of them chasing us as we made our way out of the tunnel and into the scorch.
"I'm impressed... You guys almost lasted a whole day" Jorge teased
We all looked at each other i turned around and looked back at the tunnel before feeling a pain in the back of my forehead.
I turned around rubbing my head to see Brenda giving me a glare and Jorge looking in the front mirror giving me a disapproving look.
"What was that for" I asked still rubbing my head
"For going out here alone! I'm your sister!" she said
"I know, I know next time I'll remember it" I said putting my hands up. She then looked over at Thomas giving him a look.
"I'm sorry I didn't want to bring you into this" he said
"What he's trying to say is thanks for saving us" Frypan Interjected.
"Your welcome" She said
"Hey don't get your hopes up. That checkpoint back there was the city's last defense. If that is over run chances are the city is to." Jorge explained
"yeah unless they figured out some other way to keep the Cranks out" Newt said as we looked over to see no good. Jorge slammed on the brakes as we came to a stop.
We all hoped out of the car and started walking over to the edge of the hill. It was no good the city well you can say it has another defense.
There is a whole barrier around it.
"Ain't this a bitch" I said looking it over in disbelief.
"Funny... spent three years trapped behind walls, trying to break out and now we wanna break back in" Newt said
"Yeah it's hilarious" Frypan added
"Jorge how do we get in?" Thomas asked
"Don't look at me Hermano, those wall are new. I guess that's WCKEDs answer for everything" Jorge explained.
"We'll we ain't gonna figure it out from up here" I stated as me and Brenda headed back to the car.
"Let's go" She said
everyone got back in but Thomas and Newt were having there own little conversation before getting in the car with the rest of us.
Well we are about to break into walls no one wants to go through, look at us doing the impossible but like I said impossible is another possible.
