Spectre: it depends on the mental fortitude on the person, as I say many key elements can determine the mental state of a person, we are not meant to live forever, we are a social creature so isolation like what you lived with is also a problem.

Spectre: many other Jaune's suffered through their own immortality one such example is Reborn with his 10,000 years of isolation, Doom Slayer with his 3000 years of endless fighting and the Grimm King with his 300 years of hibernation.

Spectre: the blue is his his human nature, as he vowed the Grimm will never haunt Remnant again as he took all the Grimm on Remnant and migrate them in the farthest north of Atlas and just to make sure used his immense power to separate that section of land from the mainland.

Spectre: yes and the Island was dubbed Ice Crown as he was viewed as the King of the Grimm.

Oobleck: he kept all the Grimm and kept them prisoner?

Spectre: almost but the Grimm follow only him, and he made sure any fool who even dares think they can take his power are met with only the cold embrace of death.

The Cinder of that world thought the she deserved his power but met only with an Organized Army of Grimm that tore her to shreds within minutes.

He went ahead and made an example of her and put her remains at the center of his throne room to be a reminder to any other idiot wanting his curse.

Salem felt bad for that alternate grand child

Spectre: don't feel bad his sense of obligation to keep remnant safe overturned his hate from becoming the next Salem.
