"We're just waiting on the twins now if you want to go back to the graveyard."

"Is it okay if I wait with you?"

I asked her making her nod,

"Champ I'll take the stuff and meet you back there, I love you."

My dad said taking the stuff out of my hands and making his way back to the rest of the party. I walked inside and looked around her house, it's the same place I hang out every day after school but I always find something new about it. A knock came from the door, Ashlyn twisted the door non exposing a woman.

"Who are you?"

"Hello.",

the lady said holding up a dish with food in it.

"Mom! Why'd you go off without us?"

Tyler yelled from the yard, also holding a dish with food in it.

"Sorry dear I thought you were behind me."

She smiled at her kids,

"I was helping Taylor grab food and presents."

The twins made it to the door as they stared at Ashlyn and me.

"So are you going to let us in or what?"

Tyler asked us,

"Hey, Ashlyn!"

Taylor perked up behind him.

"Don't be rude honey."

Tyler's mom said to him.

"Actually, everyone is already at the graveyard. I was just waiting here for you guys."

Ashlyn responded to them letting them inside.

"Oh, ma'am let me help you with that."

I said to their mom grabbing the dish out of her hands.

"Oh thank you so much, you must be y/n! Oh Tyler is always talking about you."

She smiled at me as Tyler whispered in an angry voice,

"Mom!"

I chuckled a bit as we all started to make our way to the graveyard, once we made it to the stone door Ashlyn yelled out,

"Mom, Dad, they're here!"

"Oh, great! Everyone's here then!"

Her dad was turning on the grill, he faced us with a smile. I made my way to a table of food placing the food dish in my hand down, I walked over to my dad with a smile.

"Glad to see you could make it."

He laughed making me laugh along with him.

"Mom look a bunny!"

I heard Taylor yell as our heads turned to a white bunny eating some grass in the graveyard.

"...I want to pet it."

A little girl who I think is Ben's younger sister spoke.

"Want me to catch it for you?"

Aiden jumped up and down excitingly.

"You can catch it."

The little girl, Lily, said,

"Of course I can! Watch!"

Aiden chased the bunny around the court yard trying to catch it, Ashlyn jumped in front of it and ended up getting it for herself. Lily pet the bunny, afterwards Ashlyn let it back go making it spring out of the graveyard.

"Is there anything you want to do, Lily?"

Taylor asked the young girl,

"How about red light green light?"

Logan spoke up throwing out ideas.

"Can we play hide and seek?"

Aiden agreed to count first as we all scattered around the graveyard, I looked for a spot and ended up hiding under the seats on a bus like that one time when the phantom found us. I heard foot steps on the same bus and saw Tyler's head peak from over the seat.

"Scoot over I'm joining you."

He said squeezing under the seat like I was.

"My hiding spot is so good you have to take it?"

I said laughing as I made some more room for him.

"Something like that, but um I wanna talk to you."

He gulped with a nervous look on his face,

"The bathroom earlier, I didn't mean for anything like that to happen so I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable and all I just...I like you."

My heart was about to pounce out my chest, my face turned red and my hands turned sweaty. Did Tyler just confess his feelings for me? He looked like he was getting nervous from how much time I was spending silently.

"I like you too."

I said softly giving him a smile. He returned the smile as his hand slowly slid into mine grabbing it, before anyone could say anything else Aiden yelled boo at us making both of us jump.

"Man you two need to stop making out when I find you."

He teased.

"We weren't making out!"

Tyler yelled out angrily making me laugh.

"Sure you weren't... but I found y'all."

Aiden laughed walking out of the bus. Ashlyn ended up winning the game as we played a few more rounds, a few hours went by and now we're just sitting around doing what ever.

"Do they not realize how late it is? It's almost midnight."

I groaned rolling over from being on top of the car with Aiden.

"Alright, let's go."

Ashlyn said standing up from the stack of cement blocks she sat on.

"Hey, dad, we're going to the bus right quick to grab something. We'll be back in a minute."

Ashlyn called out while Ben put Lily in his mom's lap, I gave my dad a quick smile as I ran off with the group.
