When I took my eyes off Neon and turned to face Chamber he was already looking at me intensively. It was only a split second of silence but my stomach decided that this was the best possible moment to cry for food.
"Ma chèrie, let me take you out for a meal worthy of a beautyful lady like you."
"But I-"
"You don't have to worry about money, just accept my invite, d'accord?"
-wanted to have lunch with Yoru.
Panic rose. The 'No' on my tongue weigthed heavier than a thousand stones. Why was nobody paying attention to us? Why was noone helping me out of this situation? Why didn't I manage to simply reject him? Why was it so hard?
Chamber pulled me away from the headquarter. He led me to his way too expensive car and drove us to a place I've never been to before. A place for the rich, a place far out of my financial league. He would pull the chair out for me to sit and push it back with etiquette. Then we were given a menu by one of the waiters. I was baffled when I opened the card and saw not a single price listed. I knew exactly what it meant and I wasn't quite pleased by the thought. I hated to think that someone would spend their money on me, especially that much.
"Have you found something that you'd like to order?" Chamber asked. I panicked innerly and went for whatever was under my finger in that very moment. After a while the waiter returned with two plates, he placed one infront of me and then Chamber.
I observed the finely prepared meal that was served to us. Noodles with mushrooms covered in a light sauce and few green leaves decorated the dish. Wether I liked it or not didn't matter, I paid only little attention to the taste that day. During that time Chamber asked me a few questions about irrelevant subjects and we had some small talk, but no more than that. And after every good meal followed a dessert. It was a nice glass bowl filled with chocolate flavoured egg crème. With a spoon I went for the best part of the dessert. I pierced through the skin that had formed on the crème due to having been baked on low heath. The perfect consistents showed that it had been made with much care. Only when I went in for a second time did I noticed that the cutlery was oddly slippery. Or was it my imagination? I didn't think anymore about it so I could at least enjoy my dessert. Turned out to be a terrible idea afterwards. It didn't took long and the spoon slipped out of my hand.
"Ma chérie, you've stained your fine clothes!" He got up from his seat, "You better get changed. Follow me." He showed the way with his hand and led me with his hand on my waist. He brought me into a small and empty room. He came oddly close.
"Uhm...Chamber...?" My breath quickened, my heartbeat fastened, my legs weakened as I had noone here who would listen. Alone in this room, with a man I didn't know, a man full of secrets and stories I didn't know. There was only one thought left in my clouded mind:
━━━━━━ [Yoru] ━━━━━━
"At least I don't need to hide behind a bunch of rusty bots like a pussy," I scoffed at Killjoy. After that she began throwing some german insults at me.
I noticed Neon joining us and my gaze immediatly flew past her in search for (y/n). There I saw Chamber putting his hands on her. The view made me feel disgusted. What was he doing with her? Why were they alone over there? Before I could go to them I was interrupted by Phoenix who placed an arm around me and led me the opposite way. I was rarely ever conflicted, but this was one of those situations where I was. Afterall I wasn't in the position to decide what she should be doing or not. It was her decision. I watched her leave the room with that man by her side. Was I so irrelevant to her that she wouldn't stay to her words?
━━━━━━ [(y/n)] ━━━━━━
His hands traced along the shape of my body and his eyes locked on my lips full of lust. He acted like he had bought me, like I was his. The heartbeat in my ears was deafening. The distance between us so close I wanted to get away from the heat that arose. And then his parfume with its manly fragrance that would invade my lungs.
"Chamber..." I tried to steady my voice as much as my nervousness allowed, "What are you doing?"
"Don't you understand, ma chérie?" He caressed my cheek, "You are just too beautyful. Your beauty could take away every men's breath. Has nobody ever told you that before?"
"Chamber," I grabbed his hand that laid on my face. But I wasn't able to lift it up.
"How about we continue where we've stopped yesterday?" He stroke my lips with his thumb.
"You're making me feel uncomfortable..."
"Shush," his face moved to the side of my neck. His mouth so close that his breath was warm against my skin, "I'll make you feel better than you've ever felt before."

I sat on the railing of a bridge. The rendezvous with Chamber laid a few hours in the past and the sun shone brightly between the tall buildings, reflecting beautyfully on the river beneath. My hand wandered up to my chest where a necklace rested. A silver flower with a shiny stone in the center. It must've been worth a lot of money. It was fine juwellery and it was pretty but all that didn't matter when the intention behind it was cheap. It all meant nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I ripped the chain from my neck,
then I threw it into the water.

Also I'm not quite sure how many chapters this story should get. I mean I have a rough plan, but what is your prefered length in general? Just out of curiosity...
