Chapter 12: An Unexpected Breeze Part 1

Amber; "I'm sorry little one but like I said there's a height restriction!"

The child responded angrily; "But I wanna fly!"

Amber; "Maybe when you grow older! It's too dangerous for someone as young as you to attempt this. Please do understand." She looked up to see Bennet and Kitayuu walking towards her. "Oh hey guys! Are you coming for your wind gliders?" Both of them nodded. The child looked up at them and screamed; "Oh come on if they can do it why can't I!" Amber, starting to lose her temper, turned back towards him and yelled, "If you don't stop nagging me I will never let you get one even if you meet the minimum requirements!" The kid looked at her horrified, "S-sorry m-ma'am" He then ran off to join his friends.

Kitayuu; "Jeez Amber, don't you think you were a little too harsh"

Amber; "Oh come on now that kid has been nagging me nonstop and won't listen to me no matter what I tell him! It was the only way to get him to go away." Amber then put an excited smile on her face, "but anyways enough about that let's get you guys started. Don't worry it's a very simple process, most people usually get the hang of it within a day and ace the exam!"

Amber then took out what looked like a pair of wings from a crate and handed each of the boys a one and took for herself as well

"Put those on and follow me!" She said.

While they followed Amber out the gates of Monstadt and started hiking up a rocky area not so far away from the city. Raiden was back at the academy carrying boxes full of food that was meant to be cooked for dinner. Whilst on his walk he bumped into two third years that were passing by. He had noticed that one of them was the girl back at the dining area from earlier.

Raiden; "Y-you!"

The girl who almost didn't notice him turned to look in his direction, "Oh! Hello you" She put on a friendly smile and closed her eyes.

Raiden lit up with anger and screamed, "You think this is some kind of joke!?" He then dropped the box on his foot, "GOD DAMMIT! OUCH!" To their surprise Diluc emerged from the classroom close by and while Raiden bent down to lift the box up again, Diluc kicked his rear end. Raiden screamed in pain as it wasn't a light kick either.
