"It was only one time when she hit me because I was hungry," you explained.

Dr. Huang nodded and listened.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry that your mother hurt you like that. She had no right to do that, and I can promise you that I will not let anything bad happen to you or let your mommy hurt you ever again," Dr. Huang swore and promised as the psychiatrist and the child made eye contact.

Suddenly, you hugged Dr. Huang gently, Dr. Huang smiled, and he gently wrapped his arms around you, not wanting to let go.

"Can you help my mommy too so she can be happy again?" You asked, hoping that he can help your mommy too. You still deeply care and love your mommy, and you believe that she needs help as well, so the two of you can be happy again.

He didn't want to help your mother. He just wanna help you, and only you. But Dr. Huang wants you to see you happy, smiling again. He then let out a sigh with a sad smile.

"Of course, I'll help you, and I'll try to help your mommy too, sweetheart," Dr. Huang promised, you smiled, which made Dr. Huang, happy.

Eventually, the svu team found Y/n's mother, she along with her date, was passed out drunk, so Olivia, Elliot, Fin, and John did the honors of pouring cold water on them to welcome their presents, then they slapped handcuffs on them for child endangerment, child abandoned and neglect.

Now, in the present time, you and your mother are now in court. You were sitting in the back with Dr. Huang, along with Olivia and Elliot, you watch your mother, who was in the front with Rafael Barba, explaining the charges that your mother was facing to the judge.

The judge let out a sigh. She then looked at you, then back at your mother.

"Mrs. L/n, I will grant you a second chance. You have a month to clean up your act and be a better mother to your daughter, and if you screw up, then I'll lock you up and make sure your daughter is taken care of," The judge explained and glared at your mother.

"You are also ordered to stop drinking, go to work every day, make sure you put food in the fridge, clothes on your daughter's back, and be what a mother supposed to be," The judge explained.

"And finally, you are ordered by the courts to go to therapy with your daughter. You will go every Saturday and Sunday 3 times a day by Dr. George Huang, this case is over," the judge explained and banged her mallet.

You watched your mother being escorted out of the courtroom. You started worrying about your mother's well-being. You looked up at Dr. Huang.

"Where's my mommy going?" You asked curiosity.

"They're taking her to a room where it can help her," Dr. Huang explained and kneeled down.

"Are you hungry?" Dr. Huang asked.

You nodded, and Dr. Huang gently took you by the hand and walked you out of the courtroom, heading to get you something to eat.

Eventually, you were sent back to your mother's care, even though Dr. Huang didn't want to give you back to your mother. He had, too, but deep down, he needed to find a way to bring you back to him, one way or another. . .
