'Am I dating her?' I said loudly and stepped back.
'No no no' the boys said in unison as they looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.
I pulled backed and sunk myself into the couch next to Jin, I covered my face and sighed loudly.
'What the hell is going on?!' I yelled, my body twitched and I just wanted to release my anger by being destructive.
'Kim Taehyung!' A voice boomed from the hallway, my head shot towards the door to see our manager fuming with anger. He slapped a newspaper on my lap and glared at me, 'Fix this!' He yelled and left the room.
'It made the front page as well?!' I groaned and threw the newspaper across the room, sinking deeper in the couch.
- Alli's POV -
Same place, I need to tell you something in person. - Alli
Is everything okay? - Taesung
Not really, I'll tell you when you get here. - Alli
I'm on my way. - Taesung
I waited on the swing for Taesung to arrive. Taesung, Taehyung, it was all the same, they even started to look the same to me. My mind was back into that mindset and I couldn't handle it. I felt weak and trapped once again and I didn't want to feel like this.
I lowered my head and closed my eyes as I let out a long sigh.
'Alli?' it was Taesung, I turned around and smiled at him, gesturing for him to sit on the swing next to me.
'What's wrong? Was it Jin again? Did he hurt you? I thought you two were friends?'
'No, he didn't hurt me. This isn't about him.'
'What is it about? Are you okay?' Taesung said as he held her arms.
'My dad, he,' I began, 'he's being transferred to another hospital in the next town over, and I have to go with them.'
'But don't you study here?' Taesung asked.
'I do, but the cost of student halls is quite pricey and my family is finally together again after being apart due to my parents working. I like being around them again, I like being a family, I don't want to leave them, I don't want to be apart again.'
Taesung sat on the swingset next to me, 'Then go?'
'But what about you? We won't be able to see each other.'
'I could maybe visit once in a while? If you want me to,' he grinned with his eyes closed, like Taehyung, 'or, you know, you could just live with me and my family? You wouldn't have to pay rent, our parents are friends and they like me. Would they let you stay with us?'
Taesung was reaching pretty far on that question. My parents would never let me stay at a boys house, never, nor would they let any guys over at our house without them around. I thought back to all those times Taehyung came over and stayed the night when he was supposedly meant to be staying with his family and when my parents were gone for weeks on end working, we risked a lot with those stunts, I had to pretend to be his mother on the phone because their manager was in disbelief that he was with his family.
Oh those nights.
I smiled before realising Taesung was staring at me awaiting an answer, I reeled back and shook the smile.
'I don't think they would let me.' I said as I watched Taesungs smile fade.
'That's fine then,' he sighed, 'when are you moving?'
'My parents said the sooner the better, so most likely next week, I'm not too sure.' I said as I pushed my feet against the ground, beginning to swing.
'Ah, well we can spend your last week here together then.' Taesung smiled at me and began to swing.
'Yeah,' I sighed and smiled back, 'we can.'
Taesung grinned and stood up, 'I'll see you later, I volunteered for extra hours tonight.'
'Mind if I tag along? I kinda want to get my mind off everything.' I laughed lightly.
Taesung extended his hand to me, 'Of course.'
I hesitated at first, but our hands soon connected and locked together. He opened the door to his car for me and I sat in the passengers seat. He turned the heater on and beamed a smile down at me.
-
'They're growing really fast.' I smiled as the puppies wagged their tails and looked up at me, they were much bigger now.
'Yeah, they're cheekier as well!' Taesung laughed as he played tug of war with one of them unwillingly.
'Dogs usually take after their masters, and you're the one that spends the most time with them!' I teased, he froze and looked up at me, sarcastically offended.
'Did you just...?' He whispered, still frozen as the puppy tugged on the toy in his hands.
I stepped back and narrowed my eyes, 'I think I just did.'
Taesung stood up and dropped the puppy toy, 'Say it again,' he challenged, 'did you just say that I'm cheeky?'
I quickly left the puppy room and stood close behind the bars, closed my eyes and nodded, 'Mhm.'
My eyes shot open as I felt his lips connect with mine through the bars, he felt me flinch and moved away.
'Too soon?' He said starting to get embarrassed. I put my arms through the bars, one holding his hand, pulling him closer, and the other running through his hair bringing his face back to mine.
I shook my head and our lips collided once more.
