3) A Fun-Filled FUNdraiser?

Start from the beginning

Liz asks, "Wait, so do you approach the clients or do they approach you?"

"They approach me. When I first started illustration work, I wasn't planning to make a job out of it, so I just posted fan-works on random art websites, and then I opened some commission slots for a bit more money on the side, won some art contests I joined for fun, and now 5 years later here I am."

"Wow."

Kevin scurries back to our table. "Oh dear. What happened?" Julia asks.

Kevin replies, "I'm... I'm not really sure..."

Liz looks up and waves at Amanda, which she does back.

"Oh, what's going on with you two?" I ask.

"Charlie and Manus are best friends since Manus got a drone. So me and Cersei Lannister are being civil for the children."

"I see..." Along with being a LizJulia shipper, I was also a bit of a LizAmanda shipper as well. And maybe a bit of a JuliAmanda shipper too. Having watched this episode multiple times already, if you were to say I was a little excited would be correct.

"That's weird," Liz uttered while watching Amanda.

"What is?" Julia asks.

"Oh, it's just whenever, um... No, forget it, I'm being paranoid."

"Tell me. Maybe I can- Oh, Caroline!" The thing about Julia is that she's a little bit of a hypocrite sometimes. She will do anything to earn the appreciation of others, even if it clashes with already existing plans or things that come up last minute.

"Still hasn't said your name," Liz says as Julia walks back to the table. Julia just responds by showing her middle finger to Liz.

I ended up just sitting with Liz at the table during the meeting. She showed her middle finger at Julia during the beginning of the meeting from across the café as a little bite-back from earlier. Julia just smiles back. Ah. True love indeed. (That's a joke.)

At drop-off, I'm just standing next to Liz waiting for Julia.

"Still didn't say your name. Perfect chance there and all." I said.

"Liz! She just offered me a job!"

"She just wants to see your CV so she can find out your name," Liz teased. That's when she noticed Amanda's phone on the roof of her car.

"Hey, hey! On the roof." Liz gives Amanda her phone.
"Oh. I'm an idiot."

"I won't argue with that. Joking. Happens to the best of us."

Then it happens again. It seems everything that Liz touches Amanda feels the need to clean.

"Did you see that?" Liz asks Julia.

She wasn't paying attention. "Huh?" I definitely saw it. But like always I keep quiet.

My sister insisted that she come to the fundraiser with me. Of course, I was tasked with bringing snacks. Cookies, fruit, cheese, crackers, stuff of that sort. I set up next to Liz. Kevin walked over to us. He looked really uncomfortable. Maybe the human cloakroom wasn't such a good idea, but he insisted on it anyway.

"You alright? You like you're going to die with all those coats on," I say.

Kevin denies it, "Oh, no, I'm having a great time. It's fun, isn't it? Isn't it fun? Everyone's responding really well to it."
