I threw my towel over the chair and sat in it, opening a castle that was in the cooler next to me. I laid back and closed my eyes. I heard someone swimming over to where I was seated.
"Not going to swim?""It's too cold. And I'm tired, haven't had the best night", I lied.
Greg hummed and didn't say anything after that.
I could feel him staring at me so I opened my eyes.
Yep, he was staring at me."Something on my face Owens?"
"You could say that"
I sighed and sat up. I could tell Greg was mad about what he just saw earlier with me and Nicole.
I looked around, gathering my words before facing Greg again, "Before you say anything - let me explain"Even with music playing, the silence was deafening. I took this as an invitation to speak.
"She asked me if I could help her with her bikini top. I said no and told her to ask Candy, but she wouldn't listen. I tried to walk away but she had a tight grip on my wrist and it was like she didn't want me to leave".
Greg was still looking at me with an unamused expression.
I rolled my eyes, "I know you don't believe me, but I promise you nothing happened".
Greg jumped out the pool and sat in the tanning chair that was next to mine. He turned his whole body so he could look at me properly. The music changed. Is this Snotkop?!
He chuckled, "She was literally all up on you, what am I supposed to believe? And she's been eyeing you the whole day"
I took a deep breath. I knew how this would go.
"I didn't want her to be 'up on me' as you put it. I don't like her. She's annoying"Greg sat back in his chair and looked at everyone in the pool for a few seconds. I don't know why but I continued to watch him.
He had a puzzled look on his face, like he was trying to figure something out.
He finally made eye contact with me again. The look on his face changed, "Why do you dislike girls so much?"
What. The. Fuck. I wasn't prepared for that question. I was taken aback for a second, just staring back at him. I have my reason to dislike girls, more specifically why im not interested them, but there's no way in hell I'm telling him. What if he ends up disliking me too?
I shrugged my shoulders and leaned back. "I just do"
A sly smile appeared on Greg's face, "Have you ever been with a girl Ekko?"
"That's none of your business" I scoffed.Greg chuckled at the look on my face and crossed his arms over his chest. He was way too amused in this moment. He was really enjoying the fact that he made me uncomfortable. Why did I even agree to come here.
"You haven't."
I scoffed surprised and narrowed my eyes at him, "And how would you know that!?"
"Because you're nervous. You're doing that thing with your eyes."
My heart skipped a beat. Fuck him. Not literally of course.
For now.
I tried my best to stop being nervous but I failed miserably and looked away. Greg just shook his head and laughed again."Well you're dating Nicole aren't you, so obviously you have experience with women." I tried my best to distract Greg.
"Yeah, and you're avoiding the question"
I rolled my eyes. He was not going to let this go, was he? I exhaled loudly.
"Yeah alright. I haven't been with a girl before. Happy now?"Greg smirked. In this conversation, he was the one in control.
"Why though? You're attractive, girls will be all over you if you'd just loosen your guard for once, Ekko."
