"Absolutely!" The pink haired girl exclaims, holding up her phone. Y/N feels like he recognizes her from somewhere.
"But I'm gonna need that speech a little shorter and really try to lean into the majesty of this place." She requests.
Dave just looks at her with a big smirk before chuckling, "Okay, we're going now. Let's get the seven of you to camp." He decides, using big arm gestures for emphasis.
"Uhm, there's six of us." Ben points out.
Dave and Roxie look at each other... and then the campers.
"Wait." Dave pauses, beginning a head count.
"Dino Kid, Track Star, Internet girl, Barfy, Texas, Hendrix..." Dave mumbles, pointing at all the campers in turn.
"Hendrix?" Y/N mutters to himself at his allotted nickname, "That's new."
"He's right. Where's seven?" Dave asks, turning to Roxie.
Roxie checks her clipboard and lets out a heavy sigh.

The group stands together about twenty feet from the helicopter pad as a black helicopter begins to land, the wind from the propellers sending their hair whipping against their faces. The skids touch the landing pad and after a moment a boy in a pink polo hops out, bag slung over his shoulder.
He approaches the group as if he's someone of importance, "Greetings, my dudes," The presumptuous guy raises his hands up dramatically.
Y/N can't help but think how obnoxious this kid is going to be, definitely way more obnoxious than Dino Boy.
"Kenji is here, so let the party commence!" He announces with the utmost cockiness.
Roxie sputters in disbelief as Kenji tosses his bag at her.
"Put this in my room." He commands, earning awkward glances all around.
"So, what's your deal?" Kenji turns to the other campers who just stare at him with blank expressions.
Suddenly, Roxie tosses Kenji's bag back at him from behind, sending him toppling over.
"Okay." She dusts off her hands and switches to her super-happy-camp-counselor voice, "Let's go!"
She leads the group to her jeep and takes a seat in the driver's seat, Dave sitting beside her. The campers all pile into the truck bed, scooting around to get situated.
The girl with the pink headband and the girl in sportswear both sit on one side, Darius and Kenji sit on the other. Kenji stretches out and puts his arm behind Darius, which earns him a side eye from both Darius and the phone girl, who sits in the middle seat.
Beside her are Y/N, and Ben, who hesitantly and carefully climbs onto the truck.
The Jeep starts with a jolt, causing some of the campers to shout in surprise and fumble to grip onto the sides of the truck. Darius is the first to find his seat belt as he quickly straps it on, the others hastily following suit.
They drive down a winding dirt path that wraps around a mountain, trees and rocks surrounding them. The art-like nature around them setting the stage for the coming days of camp.
"I hope you got my mom's note." Ben speaks to the counselors, "I don't do well on winding roads!" He warns.
Y/N scoots away from the smaller boy, just in case Ben has plans to start barfing again.
The pink haired girl pulls out her phone once again and starts recording in selfie mode, "What's up Brooklanders?" She intros, "It's your girl, Brooklyn! Coming at you from the best place ever: Camp Cretaceous!" She moves her camera to get a view shot of the behind her.
