Chapter 2

She quickly left her car and went inside the cafe before she changed her mind.

The bell above the door dinged signaling her entrance.

Lando's head snapped up when he heard the bell and he got out of his chair so quickly it almost toppled over. Ana almost laughed.

She made her way towards him.

,,Hi " she smiled awkwardly.

,, Hi, thank you so much for meeting me" Lando grined pulling a chair for her.

They sat down Ana seeing cherry smoothie she always ordered when they were together.

Seeing where she was looking Lando explained ,,I ordered it for you I hope you don't mind"

,, Not at all, thanks" she smiled taking a sip, the taste bringing her back to old times.

The whole cafe brings back memories.

Landon looked at her with soft eyes ,,So how have you been after everything?"

,, Honestly not so good" she smiled bitterly.

,,Yeah I figured. Honestly I didn't expect anything else after that ending" Lando rubs his neck.

Ana was surprised he watched it considering his tight schedule ,,You watched it?"

,, From the start to when you left" Lando admits.

,,And what do you think?"

,,I think " Lando pauses,, that you've been through hell in there "

Laughs pops from her throat surprising both her and Lando.

,, Something like that" she admits too.

,, Congratulations on your first win by the way. I always knew you could do it " Ana changes the topic.

A bright smile lights up his face ,,Thank you that means a lot. Honestly it was long over due"

,,All in it's time. So how are things with you and Magui?" Ana brings a topic she was hesitant to ask.

How are things with him and her ex best friend who he cheated with.

,,Uhm " Lando looks down ,,we broke up. I found out she was cheating on me almost the whole relationship"

Ana couldn't help herself bursting in laughter.

Karma was truly a bitch.

,,Yeah I kinda deserve that" Lando smiles lightly.

,,You kinda did" she shrugs.

Suddenly Lando straightens up and a determined look crosses his face ,,Look , I guess the whole reason I asked you to come is to see if maybe you would give me a second chance. I know I didn't deserve it but I never regretted something so much in my life.  I still love you and if so decide to give me another chance I would spend the rest of my life making it up to you. And if not then at least to bring us some kind of closure"

Ana freezes in shock for a few moments before gently shaking her ,,Oh Lando "

He smiles sadly ,,Yeah thought so"

She takes his hand that was on the table ,, Look I really appreciate you taking accountability for what you did and apologizing. But I don't ever see myself with you ever again. And honestly, after villa i don't think I will be ready to date someone for a long time. Not after him"

,,Rob huh?" Lando asks.

,,Am I that transparent?" she confirms his suspicion.

,, Honestly i think the whole world knows by now. And edits aren't of any help either "
