"What is going on!?" Y/N shouts from his spot on the hard wood.

"Maybe another storm?" Darius suggests, but the skies look clear.

"Guys! What's happening?" Ben pulls himself up and shouts to Brooklyn and Kenji.

"Propellers jammed. Someone's gotta go under and check it out." Kenji shouts down at them.

"Cap thinks we're stuck in kelp." Brooklyn adds, "And where there's a kelp forest, there's usually sharks."

A suspenseful moment passes over the group as they all realize the risks of the operation.

"Sharks? I'll pass." Yasmina shakes her head.

"Saw this movie as a kid, messed me up for life."

Y/N stares out into the water, "I'll do it."

"Wait, no, Y/N, I'll do it." Darius grabs his shoulder.

"It's cool, D. I got it." He smiles and gently pushes his hand off.

"Plus, we can't send you down there, you're the ideas man, we can't have you getting gobbled up by sharks." He jokes but nobody else really seems in the mood.

"I'm serious. I've got it." He reassures him before glancing up at Kenji who nods and starts down the ladder.

Y/N tightens the rope around his waist, second thoughts creeping in from the back of his mind.

"You sure you're okay to go alone?" Ben asks as he ties the other end of the rope to the ladder and pulls Y/N out of his head.

"I'll be alright, just don't forget to pull me up." He cracks a smile.

"I really don't get how you're being so chill about this." Ben sighs with a smile.

Y/N slides off his shoes and makes his way down the stairs, taking one last glance at all his friends before jumping into the water.

He swims down to the bottom and sees that there is in face a kelp forest down there. He makes quick work of moving all the kelp off the propeller and rises back to the surface.

"He's out! Sammy cheers.

"Propeller was stuck in kelp." Y/N smiles, "Just like Captain Kenji inferred."

"Tell him to try it now, I'll stay in the water just in case." He floats by the swim platform.

"On it!" Brooklyn shouts and runs to tell Kenji.

The boat moves forwards gradually.

"We're all clear!" Kenji shouts from his post.

The other camper's cheer.

"Y/N the scuba diver for the win!" Y/N boasts.

"You weren't even scuba--" Yaz starts.

"Shh, let him have this." Sammy giggles.

"There's something in the water!" Brooklyn runs towards them.

"It's heading this way!" She shouts.

Ben and Yasmina start to pull on the rope, but Y/N barely moves. He checks the rope around his waist but it's still secure.

"Back up the boat!" Brooklyn cries, but the boat doesn't move.

"Y/N!" Yasmina shouts.

Darius joins the pair in the effort on the rope. They keep pulling and pulling but he's barely getting any closer.

Y/N tries his best to swim towards them but it's difficult with the waves crashing against him.

"Shark!" Kenji yelps.
