After choosing weapons and making small requests, the students were told to remain in the area.
Diluc; “Since your weapons should be ready by tomorrow, we might as well separate each of you guys into groups for your first commission.”
Barbara looked up surprised, “Commissions already?”
Diluc nodded, “Yes you will each get a few commissions from the adventurers guild and for the next 3 days, you will be completing as many as you can across Teyvat, of course it’s recommended that you choose areas nearby. For every commission completed you will be awarded with Mora depending on the difficulty. So this is also the chance for everyone to start making some money.”
Everything started getting excited over the thought of money being involved and instantly went to form groups.
Diluc smirked, “Ah ah, not so fast”
Everyone stopped in their tracks before Diluc spoke up again, “You will each be assigned to random groups. You guys will need to learn how to work with different people because later on in life, you can’t always choose who you want to work with.”
Kitayuu gulped, the thought of getting Raiden or Keqing didn’t sound appealing to him, since both of them seemed like they preferred working alone.
Diluc, “But before that, we have some guests”
Soon after a duo of third year students walked from behind Diluc. Raiden’s face instantly lit up with anger as he saw the girl wink at him and immediately realised who it was.
Diluc; “This is Kazuha and Hu Tao, both high performing third year students.”
Hu Tao greeted everyone with waves and a huge smile whilst Kazuha stood there, arms folded and a rather serious expression on his face.
Diluc, “Two groups will be taking on higher grade commissions and those of you who are assigned to either group will have a third year to accompany them.”
Everyone immediately started talking again wanting to see what a third year student was capable of. Bennet on the other hand leaned over to Kitayuu, “Damn Hu Tao is hot…”
Kitayuu responded annoyed, “CAN YOU STOP THINKING ABOUT GIRLS FOR ONE SECOND”
Bennet shrugged, “But look at her!”
Kitayuu looked back and soon understood what Bennet was talking about, “Whatever you have no chance with her.”
Bennet scoffed, “Yeah no kidding, she’s the most popular girl in her year, but never say never.”
Kitayuu sighed and walked away annoyed to talk to Barbara and Noelle.
Bennet, “Hey come back here!”
Hearing the conversations going on about the third years, Diluc suddenly had an idea in mind, “Well if you want to see so bad. How about we have one of them demonstrate their power for you guys?”
Hu Tao immediately started jumping up and down, “Ooh me me me!”
Kazuha gave her a look telling her to go ahead as he had no interest in showcasing his abilities despite being the number one student in the third year.
Hu Tao, “All right! Who here wants to have a friendly spar?”
Raiden immediately pushed his way forward and stood in front of her ready to fight.
Hu Tao chuckled, “Ooh someone’s confident and it’s none other than you cutie!”
Raiden screamed, “STOP CALLING ME THAT”
