It's silent for a moment.

"But you're the fastest." Ben says what everyone is thinking.

"I know. Like, by a lot... But..." Yaz sighs, "I stayed up pretty late last night and I could use... a break."

"No worries, I'll do dino lookout." Y/N offers, rather eagerly.

Kenji suddenly sneezes and everyone takes a large step back.

"Argh, are you catching a cold? Cuz the last thing I need is to get sick." Brooklyn side eyes him.

"Me? Sick? No way!" Kenji waves it off, "I'm a hundred percent, all day every day."

"Okay..." Darius goes back to his plan, "So Y/N, Ben, and Mae will keep an eye on the Rexes."

"Meanwhile, Brooklyn, Kenji, and Sammy will get rid of the altered T. Rex food."

"Finally, Yaz and I will move in and disable the feeding platform, which will hopefully alert Mantah Corp to send the supply plane so that the BRADS can repair it."

Y/N sits beside Mae, with Ben on the other side of her. They carefully watch the sleeping dinos, trying to keep their voices down as to not disturb them.

"According to their QUUG's, they--" Mae starts.

"Sorry," Y/n interrupts, "Their what?"

"Uhm," Mae pauses, "The maps of their brain. Yeah."

"See, look, " She moves the tablet for the boys to see, "They're in a light but restful Stage Two sleep.

"We just have to be sure to be extra quiet."

"Hey guys." Kenji's head pops up from the ladder, causing the other 3 to jump.

"Kenji, shh. You're gonna wake them up." Ben scolds Kenji as he takes a seat beside Y/N.

"Sorry, sorry." Kenji holds his hands up defensively.

"What are you even doing up here?" Y/N looks him up and down.

"Sammy and Brooklyn didn't need my help." Kenji shrugs.

Mae, Ben, and Y/N accept this answer and turn back to observe the dinosaurs. After a couple seconds, Kenji starts making weird, strangled noises.

"What?" Mae whispers.

"Cough." Kenji mumbles in response.

"You better not."  Y/N glares at him.

Kenji tries to hold it in but ends up coughing rather loudly. With this, Mae's tablet begins beeping.

"They're waking up!" Mae whispers tensely.

The T. Rexes slowly rise from their slumber, stumbling and groaning weakly.

"Oh no, poor things. They're still hurt." Mae frowns.

"They should've received medical attention by now. Let me put in a request for a Med BRAD to come." Mae taps on her tablet while Y/N aggressively pats Kenji's back as he coughs.

One of the Rexes begins walking further into the forest, headed straight for the other campers.

"We've gotta tell the others," Ben urges, "They'll be sitting ducks!"

The four of them hurry down the ladder and begin sprinting towards the feeding platform, the T. Rex not far behind.

"Time to go!" Kenji shouts to Yaz and Darius as they approach.

They all start running ahead but Y/N skids to a stop when he realizes Yasmina hasn't moved an inch, you could even say she's frozen. He hesitates for a second before running up to her, shaking her by the shoulders.
