Ben and Y/N head back to the cave and find Mae right where they left her.

"Okay, Mae." Ben crouches down beside her, "Let's get you cleaned up."

He reaches down to remove the leaf, but Mae suddenly jerks up and punches Ben right in the mouth with a pained groan.

"Oh my god--" Y/N leans over Ben as he thuds to the ground.

"Ben, you hurt me." Mae groans.

Ben sits up and rubs his cheek, "You hurt me."

"Sorry, maybe it's safer if we stick with the leaves." Mae smiles sheepishly.

"We can't let you get an infection, don't worry, I'll do it." Y/N grabs the bandages and hovers his hands over the leaves, "Please don't punch me."

"Don't worry," Mae takes a deep breath, "I'm ready for it this time."

"Good." Y/N smiles and start peeling back the bandages.

Mae groans and punches Y/N even harder than she punched Ben.

"Sorry."

Brooklyn and Yaz make it back to the cave where everyone else is waiting.

They settle down in the grass and Yaz begins explaining what they saw, "We found Kash... in this creepy warehouse full of BRADs." She pauses, still catching her breath.

"I almost had the phone, but then..." Brooklyn starts.

"He went back inside the compound." Yaz adds.

"The BRADs forced Big Eatie away from her daughter." Darius explains their end of the BRAD chase.

"They shocked her until she left with them."

"It was... hard to watch." Kenji folds his arms.

"Hasn't he hurt them enough!?" Mae complains, finally feeling well enough to do so.

"He wants to use her for some kind of test." Darius explains.

Suddenly, a roar is heard in the near distance, everyone directs their gaze towards the sound.

"That's Peirce!" Mae instinctively tries to get up but quickly reels back, clutching her injuries.

"No, no, no." Darius shakes his head, "You need to rest." He leans her back up against the rock.

"But if Kash is hurting him like he did Big Eatie..." Mae frowns.

"Don't worry, we'll go." Darius reassures her.

Everyone gets ready to follow the sound and they begin filing out of the cave. Y/N lingers behind, his gaze fixed on Mae, not wanting to leave her alone.

"Go on." She smiles at him, "Don't let that jerk hurt Pierce."

Y/N nods and follows his friends.

They arrive and Kash is right where they left him. But now he's backing Big Eatie and Pierce into each other with his forcefield drones.

It doesn't take anyone long to figure out his motive.

"He's gonna force them to fight." Darius frowns.

"No way." Sammy gasps.

"It adds up. Dosing the food, making them more aggressive, seeing how strong they are, Mae's research." Darius begins listing, "He doesn't care how dinosaurs feel."

"He only wanted to know how'd they do in a fight."

"But Pierce is no match for Big Eatie, he'll be slaughtered." Brooklyn voices.
