41: Catnip Aftermath

Start from the beginning

("Quiet down!" Iida continued to shout)

"Midoryia got votes as class president, but he gave the position to Iida after the press broke into the school."

"The press did what?"

"You've missed all of it?" Mina asked, "Wait that's right! You did! Where were you?"

"I..." I blinked, "I'm a cat, someone had catnip. I suffered."

"Oh—"

"Sit down!" Aizawa walked in.

Everyone ran to their seats and closed their mouths shut tightly.

"It took you all... blah blah seconds too sit down... blah blah..."

Without the distraction of the smell of catnip I could, focus. This didn't make Aizawa's lecture much more interesting.

That afternoon we gathered on a field.

"I overheard something," Hitoshi said, "All Might got told off by dad. Apparently giving such dangerous combat training was idiotic and you're supposed to teach people to fight first."

"Hah!" Someone behind us laughed quietly. We turned around to see someone with black hair and tape dispenser arms. (The world of quirks, you'd think I'd be used to the weird things by now)
"Hanta Sero, nice to meet you," the kid said, "Did you seriously hear that?"

Hitoshi rolled his eyes.

"He's not here to make friends," I joked, "I'm (y/n), this is Hitoshi Shinso."

"Stop making friends," Hitoshi told me.

"Stop telling me what to do."

"Ass."

"Bitch."

"Whore."

(Based on a true story... this is how siblings act, don't worry about it)
All Might overheard all of this and visibly paused before continuing on with his explanation.

We were put into teams.

"Hey! We're teamed together!" The rainbow puke kid said. I should stop calling her that. Like, for real.

"You're from the entrance exam," I said as though I had only just noticed her, "The kid that threw up." I had to mention it?

"Er—" the kid frowned, "My quirk drawback..."

"I'm (y/n)!" I said quickly, "Nice to meet you."

"Right! I'm Ochaco Uraraka." (Editor Waffle edit the name if I've got it wrong!) (Probably right? I'll look it up later)

"Quirkless combat, huh," I said, "Do you have any experience?"

Uraraka smiled hesitantly. "You talk as though you do..."

I won every match... the goal of this wasn't clear, but this was a school and I decided to teach Uraraka a bit more about defence and dodging punches.

"Your endurance is great," I complemented, "You just need to practice!"

"One day I'll beat you!" Uraraka said with new determination, "And well both become great heroes!"

"Right," I nodded slowly, "Sure."
What a strange kid.

Hero training ended and I felt a little dizzy. At lunch I hadn't finished my food. I just felt so weirdly sick. Like my stomach held stuff that wasn't supposed to be there.

Before I walked to class I walked to the bathroom. I went there to splash water on my face, but ended up abandoning the few bites of lunch I did have.

Maybe I had ate some of the catnip. I do weird things with drugs.
Either way, I splashed some water on my face and cringed at how pale I looked.

Tiredly I closed my eyes, wishing to walk to Aizawa for a hug. The tired buzz in my ears turned into ringing as I felt more and more dizzy.

But I was at school. I should try my best to finish the day!

I walked into class to see Mic preparing an English class.

"Hey, (y/n)," he said as he saw me, "You look off, are you okay?"

I shrugged. "I'm fine I guess."
Taking a seat Hitoshi gave me a glare.
"What?"

"You look pale."

"Okay, suck it up I guess."

"Ass."

"Bitch."

"Whore—"

"Language!!"

"Shut up Iida."

Just sitting seemed doable, so I just sat.

Aizawa gave me a glare when I got home.

"Alright, spill, what's wrong."

"Nothing."

"You look pale."

"You look your mom."

Mic raised a finger, "That's grammatically incorrect."

"Shut up," me and Aizawa said at the same time.

I felt sick still.
Slowly I sighed. "The drugs is haunting me. I threw up at school and I can't get stuff through my throat."

Aizawa nodded. "Thank you for telling me."
He then glared at Mic.
"Well, what are you waiting for, get some meds!"

"Wha—" Mic held up his hands, "I don't even know where they are!"

"Can I join in with shouting at Mic?" Hitoshi asked.

I nodded.

"Three hours is enough sleep!" Hitoshi said loudly.

"No it's not," I said.

"Your mom is not."

"True, she dead."

"This is depressing." Mic muttered. And maybe he was right, but I grinned.
