For the sake of the plot I've played with the court case timeline a little, it doesn't matter much and was only necessary for that flashback.

Singhania Mansion

The anger and protectiveness amongst the family was rising.

Naksh said, " There is no way that man is going to come anywhere close to our daughter."

Abhir agreed and said, " Never."

Krish said, " That guy has done enough damage. Anand make sure ki he finds nothing."

Keerti sighed and then authoritatively spoke, " Tum kuch nahi karoge, Anand. For now. Nothing at all."

Naksh said, " Really Keerti? Usne jo harkatein ki hain uske baad bhi, you want him to find her."

Keerti sharply replied, " Aapne kabhi galtiyaan nahi ki, Naksh?
Agar woh usse do saalon se dhoond raha hai, maybe that accounts for something.
Abhi toh humein sab pata bhi nahi hai so will you stop judging the man."

Naksh replied, " We might not know much but we do know that he was getting married to someone else in a week after his divorce. He doesn't deserve forgiveness."

Keerti replied, " Well we are not the ones who should be deciding this, Naksh. Yeh faisla sirf Abhira ka hai and she will get to decide. I don't want any interference until we talk to her about this.
Woh iss Saturday ghar aayegi and we'll talk about it then and she will decide."

Naksh said, " Keerti, Abhira deserves better."

Keerti replied, " She will decide what she deserves Naksh. Yeh ek aisa faisla that we won't influence at all. Uski shaadi hai. It is very personal between the husband and wife, we aren't going to intrude unless she asks for help. Am I clear?"

Naksh grudgingly nodded, as did the others.

Keerti the asked, " Anand, For this week if we do nothing, then what are the chances of him finding her."

Anand responded, " Not very high, ma'am. From my intel, the investigation starts from next Monday."

Keerti replied, " Good.
Then we'll do nothing this week. But just in case keep a team prepared.
Agar she doesn't want to see him then we'll make sure that he doesn't find her but if she does then I want no interruptions.
She is an adult and she is capable of making her own decisions."

Anand said, " Also sir, Armaan left his family around a year back and from what I gather they have no connection anymore."

Abhir said, " How does that even matter? For all I care poora khandaan tabaah ho jaye."
